To be fair to him, he's brought it to the table which is more that can be said for some people in the game. To deny its not a problem in the game whilst it blatently is in society is being a bit naive in my opinion.
One of the underlying things in all this like you've alluded to is that the board at Widnes will back him, certainly on the disciplinary front. Last season Simm and Ostick were involved in a bit of a set-tout and they were shown the door, not for drugs I might add but it seems very much at Widnes that there is a zero tolerance to any goings on. That is what winners are all about and hopefully in a couple of years we'll start to see it all coming into fruition.
