Paul Cullen is holding his hand up and claiming responsibility for the current changes at the club. He doesn't like the set up and doesn't see the point in running a Championship club like a half-assed SL club. Unfortunately John has been a victim of this. Cullen has to make things happen on the field for next season now or face the consequences.

With the mess Ste Mac has left, I wish him luck with that.

Hope stanky goes to halifax and train them to get into a drinking culture.Sorry to say it but i have seen him a few times down town drinking with widnes players.He looks out of shape and got a beer belly.We need people who want to win and it a disgrace what is happening at this club.Get rid of dead wood.

Actually, yes I do know John and have known him for 20 years + and worthy of defending, particuarly when comments - including yours are complete and utter tripe. I'm sure he would like you to clarify your comments in person.

I can't believe what I'm Reading about Stanky. Yes, he may have a beer belly but that has nothing to do with being a good coach or not. Look at Dave Woods. Stanky did a great job at both Doncaster and Widnes and maybe does like a pizza or 2 but he is and will be a great coach in the future.

And on what basis have you formed that opinion? He was in charge for one game against Toulouse, granted at the time the opposition were not great but you can't judge him on one game.

We can see we got nowhere in last 3 yrs and coaching team got to take some of the blame.They bring in the players and train them.Fact cullen came out with players not training together.Fact cullen knows some players not good enough.Internet cafe and perks need to go until start performing.Fact we had a great team under ste mac but we underperformed with a team well capable of winning the league.Look at all the players doing well at wakey.All facts.

And what has that got to do with JS's physique? McCormack and O'Connor have brought in these players. I recall numerous people who used to watch the academy saying that under Stanny they were playing good ,entertaining, discplined Rugby - he merely assisted. I know as well from a first hand source that the players were raving about the training sessions under him after Mac had gone. McCormack recruited players for 5 drives and a kick Rugby and ultimately he has been responsible for that and ed off accordingly. I'll ask again, what has that got to do with JS's physique?



When he was announced I backed him and will still do, and if it doesn't work out I'll wish him the best. During the first few weeks nothing changed whilst he was in charge and that has come from a more than reliable source. It has taken a good 10 weeks for a change in the training regime to come about.



Yes, and they are not his players, but I'll wager you'll be one of the fans calling him at the end of the season if we don't get in any finals.



And had nothing to do with John Stankevitch as he left in May 2007, after we battered Cas at their place.

Whilst I don't really disagree with some of your facts, I still fail to see what this has to do with John Stankevitch's physique and past, current and future capabilities as a coach, given the fact that he was not the main man in charge and that was Steve Mac and that JS did not recruit any of the players.
