by 2013 i'll be enjoying my rugby at leigh miners on a saturday afternoon.

I know we have banter and it's all usually good clean fun, i also know we will miss that and the great games when we play each other, and i think most Leythers myself included wish you luck in SL you should already be there really. Again good luck for the future and hope at some point in time we will be strong enough to join you, lets make the games we play each other next season good ones.

I personally havent an axe to grind with you men, we have had some great rivalry over the years and I sincerley wish you all the best and will miss our 6 points every year.

I think most Leigh fans are pleased for Widnes. You've been shafted plenty of times over the years, so your return to SL is long overdue. I also think most of us enjoy the banter with the Widnes fans.

It's all relative. All the points we've dropped to you recently, we've also been dropping nearly as many to Barrow and Fax.

Like plenty of other people from small towns, most people from Leigh are decent enough. It's only a few of them who have inferiority complexes about neighbouring towns and cities and what the teams from those places are doing.

I want Widnes to do well in Super League. I reckon and hope you can do what Wire have done and get crowds of over 10k regularly.

I do admit I will miss playing Widnes, best away support and best banter on the forums is with you lot, never too serious. Wait 'til you play Saints, their fans have not got a sense of humour!

Also, will never forget the Widnes fans clapping Timmy Steet off in his last ever game.

Speaking of real ale, it's the Warrington Oktoberfest starting tomorrow, time for some Wobbly Bob!

If you go to Asdas midweek theres 3 different ales at a pound a pop. Gentleman Jack, Whitechapel Porter and Golden Ale. Long weekend for me though so a new batch of homebrews going on!

There's a Weatherspoons. I haven't been in it, but like any other Weatherspoons there's bound to be a few decent ones amongst the tasteless, frozen gnats water such as Fosters, Carlsberg and Stella. Widnes RUFC usually has a couple of well kept real ales on the go, but it's not too handy for the Halton stadium.

Wobby Bob is a fine drop of beer!
