Thanks for the updates. Decent run out for the lads. But now down to business... Bring on Wigan!

Poor Paddy - a high kick and he takes it, gets tackled, the hooter goes and we've won. Instead, he fluffs it in the floodlights and the scrum sets with 1 SECOND remaining on the clock. They get it it out, the hooter sounds and Cas kick to the unmarked far wing and bosh - you just knew it was going to happen.

Saying that, they were on our line for most of the second half and we kept them out - no mean feat. I thought the first half was bright and entertaining from both sides, the second half dour/dire. Heremaia is bloody quick and tricky - I want to see more of this.

Not sure how much we'll see of PAV this year. He just couldn't tackle a dinner today.

Good to know that heremia played well,he will take a bit of pressure off brown and mellor who will hopefully be even better this season

Three useful pre-season games. You can't read too much into pre-season but three fair performances against SL standard opposition. Can't wait for thr Wigan game.

Exatly, we've now played 3 games against SL opposition going into the new season, this is the most prepared we have been going into a SL season.

We'll get far more out of this than beating the likes of Swinton by 50/60 points. The fact that Cas hammered our line for most of the second half and we held out (by the last play) will give us great confidence and conditioning in defence going into the Wigan game. And Wigan haven't shined too much pre-season. I think it's winnable.
