Quote ="Cripesginger"and a club can say they would be interested in players when their contract expires.
'"
Oh my god!!!! you genuinely believe this!!!
That is too funny!!!!
Whilst a player remains under contract with a club even when they are in the last year of their contract unless given specific permission by the players current club the players representative has absolutely no rights to discuss any matters concerning a player. Now between clubs, there might be dialogue about which players are out of contract at the end of the season. Leeds gave us permission to speak to a couple last March / April and we could then approach those player's agents but under no other circumstances should a club be approaching players or their agents directly ahead of the deadline.
If a player and their club agree to publicising the length of a contract then fine, but even under those circumstances any club approaching Mull or his agent now to indicate their interest without the clubs permission would be 'tapping up'. That is the way of it.
Quote Deny it as much as you like.'"
I'll deny it, because you have made this up and are talking absolute bull!! Tell me who is doing this now? We'll let the RFL know and see what they have to say on the matter. Come on, if you know Hudds have approached Mulls agent now without permission from Widnes tell us, let's drop the RFL an email.. if you are right, nothing happens? What do you say over there in the land of made up rules!!
