I think Tommy Coyle needed to be a bit smarter there. I don't think the defender was going to catch Gardner, but Coyle seemed to hold on the defender when he released Coyle from the attempted tackle - if that makes sense. Harsh but Coyle's own fault it was disallowed really.

Was strange seeing those conversions being taken from so far back by Haggerty. Don't remember seeing that style too often before.

Personally I didn't think Finigan released Coyle and the contact between the two was the same as when he was trying to tackle Tommy, they were both swinging round when he offloaded so no surprise one went down.
