Quote ="vikings 4 ever"I think last year Fax were charging £14 for an adult ticket. Widnes tickets prices are usually in line with other teams in the division. A lot of the clubs with very few seated areas seem to charge about £14 for standing and then another couple of quid for sitting - making Widnes quite reasonable.
IMO the prices for the Championship level have been creeping up a bit in recent years and it would be good if a lot of clubs could afford to try and lower prices and see what effect it would have on attendances - but can't see that happening anytime soon.'"
With the recession hitting working class families hardest you'd think a game like rugby league would not only empathise with the fans (which makes financial sense tbh) but also encourage fans of sports that are much dearer to give us a chance by dropping ticket prices. Trouble is, we've all got to keep up with the Jones', so unless we all agree to do it none of us can.
