Really tough game this one, we scraped through by 2 points last year and they have a good backline. I would go with the below to combat them and possibly sacrifice Thompson against a big experienced backline of opponents.

Always a real tough egg Sheffield but we tend to come through!

I think in past years there big lads up front have battered us but this year are pack have been exceptional so honestly think we'll get the win! I'd agree with Varks as they have big lads at , though Thompson would learn a lot and really be tested if got the nod! Gardner should help out with the big lads from playing wing as well.

Shame can't go but been a few times and desperately need save some penny!

My team except i would have houghton in the team rather than gerrard or ben davies.I like Thompson but i feel varkulis has more experience for these two important games.Sheff then fax on thursday will show where we are at as a team.

Think their outside backs are more impressive: Barnett, Yere, Ropati, Thackeray and Woodcock. I think at least 2 of them players would get in every side, I would take all at Fax apart from Thackeray and maybe wouldnt want Woodcock
