Are hull fans still disowning him for going to Leeds

There's only eight posts on it on the Leeds forum, including one by you not about Schofield.

I'm pleased for Garry (double "r", by the way), a great servant for Hull FC and Leeds, joint record international caps for GB and had a number of good spells in Australia.

His Hall of Fame recognition is deserved without a doubt, I would've liked to have seen Clive Sullivan inducted too, though.

I thought Clive Sullivan should have got in.
was just surprised that no mention of it on the hull board. Always watched hull in the 80's when schoey played, my fav player in the game, was delighted when he signed for Leeds.

I've supported Hull sine 1975 and wouldn't hesitate to put Schofield in my all time starting 13.

Shame he's become too critical of the club since he retired, but this accolade is based on his performances on the pitch and no one can argue he wasn't a great player.

Well earned place in the "Hall". Right at the back of the queue in the "Hall of Morals" though. Just my opinion like.

They've probably only inducted him to stop him moaning for the next 5 years about not being in it.

Leeds won 5 grand finals in 6 years and he was still banging on about how the team was better in his day , its just the Schoey way .

Well deserved if hes been judged on his playing career. people at our club dont like him but he was good in his boulevard days. Same goes for Paul Cooke people dont like him but it was his try that made us win the CC and for that you cant knock these playing legends of our club. imo

The guy was an outstanding talent in his ti me at Hull. Not sure if his move to Leeds was the best career move for him, but it's all history now. A true great for Hull.

Great player and I loved him at Hull. I even read his autobiography, but he is still a outspoken gob e lol.

Schofield was a fantastic player for Hull, I actually prefered him at centre, he was a great there's no doubt about that!

Not ashamed to say Schoey was one of my all time favourite Hull FC players. Well deserved honour far as I'm concerned and I harbour little in the way of grudges these days. Players move clubs - end of.

I have no problem with players leaving the club but it is the way that they do it.
Schofield refused to play for Hull for a couple of months to force through his transfer to Leeds.
