hi does anybody know upto what age a child can get in for free when sharing a seat with their parent?
also at what age did people on here start taking thier kids? my partners due on friday and im already trying to plan and work out how long i will have to miss rugby for


any help muchly appreciated thanks.

Under 5s....some posters on here have taken very young children, start em young

up to the age of five they can get in free if sharing a seat, they dont mind them having a spare seat if there is one as long as its not a sell out

My youngest daughter went to her 1st game at 3 weeks

(a GB/Aussie game no less).

and is that the kc rule? under 5s? as in will that be the same for city games?
im thinking of taking him to the playoff game if we have a home game meaning he will possibly be around a month old- any parents had a problem with the noise? ta

yes was told its going to be a boy! hope it turns out they told us right as we have got all boys clothing! i dont want to be going round hull swapping everything for pink!

not sure if it is the kc rule or just for fc, dont go to watch city. My son took my grandaughter to a few games this year and sat on the corner of the south with the west stand, she is just three years old now, there was space for her to sit on her own seat and she enjoyed it, he didnt take her to the derby game as the noise may have been too much and he wanted to have a few beers but next year I think she will go to many more games

Should be no problems taking him to a play-off game, you may be better off in West stand for the noise element, however it will be lively (hopefully) in the full stadium, maybe get one of those pouches which you wear to put him in, he will probably sleep right through it....Oh be careful about celebrating (jumping up and down) when we win...remember you have a baby strapped on

he gets all excited in the belly when at the games now moving about loads its amazing to watch i never see him as excited in her belly as when watching the rugby, so hopefully in a few years he will enjoy jumping and celebrating as i did in cardiff! best day of my life until lil man arrives!
