Obviously he isn't as effective as Farrell, nobody is saying he is, but his style of play us basically a solid backrower and will do a job there as backup, we should have looked to play him there 2 years ago.

Talanoa is too slow for the wing and terrible under high ball, better at centre IMO. I think if we sign Fonua and Vidot he place could be in danger.

We'll have to agree to disagree on his best position (I think every centre should have at least a decent pair of hands) but I do agree that his position could be under threat if we sign Vidot and Fonua. That's why I don't think we'll sign Vidot.

Yeamo has been a great servant but he has played his entire career at centre and now he can't cut it at centre we convert him into a second row to prolong his career? Would Leeds, Wigan or Saints do that?

The debates about a player's best position often remind me of the Peter Sharp days. It concerns me slightly when it's hard to decide where a player should play because they have weaknesses in each option. Usually gets me thinking that perhaps they just need replacing.

But is still one of the best wingers in SL was more my point. Pretty much all players will have some stats or aspects of their game that don't look too good, otherwise everyone would be brilliant at everything.

HDM reckon both Fonua and Vidot are coming, that's two very exciting young players who play for two of the top 5 teams in the world. Pretty exciting signings IMO.

Seem to remember he played in the pack a bit in his early days, probably when Sean Macrae was here.

Played 2nd Row a few times off the bench, but has only started there twice in his entire career. He's actually had 3 starts on the wing! lol
