Everyone was surprised by Green and Thompsons injuries - im not saying they are pretending to be injured just highlighted those two as mystery surrounds whats actually wrong with them as they werent injured playing. As for dishonesty im sorry ill mention the Hudds game again. The same game were our current coach managed to oust Gentle so dishonesty runs from the top so why cant it run through the team (where it did at Hudds). Somethings not right with the team as can be plain to see but if want to insinuate that im saying things that im not to try make yourself look holier than thou then feel free

That's your opinion. But the facts are these:
A poster has suggested players would declare themselves fit if we were winning. The fairly obvious implication being they're swinging the lead. That's unfair IMO and disappointing that club supporters want to freely a) make the generic judgment and b) cite Green and Thompson as specifics

Players generally push to play, many on the needle. Suggesting there's a mindset to sack it off because we're playing poorly seems to me, and only me apparently, a bit of an insult, albeit a change to have an indirect rather than direct barb against Radford.

Obvious to you. I can't speak for others, but I don't personally jump to that conclusion. I don't think I'm alone judging by the thread, but perhaps others could confirm.



a) is speculation I don't see a huge issue with, personally, b) I didn't like that either, actually. The most disappointing thing in the whole mess, though, is that we've got fans feeling so down that they are starting to question things like this.



And this is actually what I consider to be the obvious implication from Sebasteeno's point. That if we were doing well, this is what our players would be doing, declaring themselves fit when they shouldn't, or going beyond the call of duty in attempts to get fit. IF they are not (and I'm not even agreeing with him that that is the case - in fact I think he's wrong), it doesn't necessarily mean that they are swinging the lead. It could be a fragile state of mind meaning that they are more fearful of little niggles affecting performance, the way lack of confidence causes you to doubt yourself and overanalyse every little thing.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree. IMO implying players could play but are choosing not to is a sleight on their integrity. You think otherwise, which is fine. I'm not sure what the hypocrisy charge is here though. Ben Cockayne gives FC fans the finger in Cardiff and we're outraged. Jordan Rankin delivers over-exuberant celebration and we love it.

If I want to post a bit of balance and call out what I see as relentless, repetitive and pointless denigration of the club, guess what, I may well do so.

I recognise openly the shortcomings of the squad (prop, centre, back up hooker), the lack of structure in attack, the worrying slide of our defence, the inexperience of of coaching staff. But there are some positives. The academy's doing well, new training ground, healthy merchandise sales, some early promise from our halves and strength in the back row. If you point the latter out in here you're slated for being an apologist or not a true fan. Hilarious, seriously.

Back on Wigan. Depends greatly on the pack. Hopefully many will be recovered this week and back in the squad. Given our disastrous 2nd half v Leeds they need to be.
