I dont see why it is ludicrous. If the Souths situation doesnt work out, and assuming he wants to stay in rugby league, then England is his only viable alternative for a season.
Hull will have a quota space free and presumably a chunk of cap space if Berrigan follows Burnett out of the door.
You play in arguably the best ground in the league and have one of the largest average attendances. Plus having Fitzgibbon and O'meley at the club have to be drawcards.
You need to have more confidence and belief in your club in my opinion.

FC do off-the-pitch as well as anyone in the comp. However, much as I love the club, and that is a [ulot[/u, we are a let-down on the pitch and playing for Agar is unlikely to float Inglis' boat. Hull is not an attractive destination per se due to its geographical situation. Plus, as said, Inglis has a non-clean record, therefore would struggle to get a visa. Unlikley Inglis would come for Berrigan's wage either IMO, particularly with the loophole closing on offshore payments. But apart from that, nailed on.

IF Inglis doesnt sign for a NRL club he'll sign for RU. He'll still sign for Souths imo.

Dont rate the U20 comp at all. Allow him to keep progressing at Batley whilst training full time with Hull.

I must admit I thought a few SL clubs would prick their ears up when the Souths move started to look decidedly rocky. I think Hull would be foolish to not even try and then miss out on such an opportunity brought about by such an unusual set of circumstances. However, the likelihood of it coming off... now, that's another story.

I did wonder if we might do a deal with Shane Richardson to keep Inglis warm for a year and then hand him back.
