In this 17 tonight who would you call a "bad" player? There are some average ones, maybe a couple of below average ones, but they are not this bad.

In fairness, Wigan have built that structure over years. It would be a bit much to expect Radford to do the same in half a season. A start would have been nice, though.

the players have proved they can play well in some of the early games this season. what is worrying is that they seem to be getting worse the longer the season goes on

I did, but I also saw the two wins against Warrington and the home win against Leeds. They have shown that they are capable of playing well. Very well. So how can they play so poorly now?

3 bad performances in the season, we have already had 4 equally as bad if not worst.

With respect, they clearly are. Or they'd be doing better regardless of the coach. And I'd suggest that the CC final and Huddersfield playoff game back that up.

We had the chance to start building something with Gentle who got us 2 reasonable finishes and a cup final. We sacked him for a coach who is now highly unlikely to get us into the play offs.

And yet we were assured that the days of underachievement were over, that everyone was fully aboard Ship Radford and ready to sail away to the island of fulfilled potential.

you're wildy out, the cup final we played the conditions badly, mistakes were made but we were not THAT bad, up until the last 10 minutes I thought we could have even won it.
As for the Hudds game, that was players just jacking it in, and from all accounts Radford was certainly in on it..
The last two seasons we lost by very few points, our defence was really good, this year it has been garbage, yeah some attacking plays have been good but we forget the 70+ points we put on Bradford last year and the other 40+ point wins we had under Gentle..
what has Radford given us..one good win over Huddersfield and a positive defeat to Saints, that's it, the rest has been bang average at best.

After listening to that it seems that Radfords number 1 fan is without a doubt Craig Murdoch.

Murdoch doesn't pay to watch this tripe.

Radford appears to make so many knee jerk decisions it can only hurt the club.

I hope you sack him ASAP and get a long term coach who will look to improve the players rather than scape goat them. Start from the bottom and tap into quality kids in the area.

Doc can't see beyond his personal friendships. He was exactly the same with Agar.

Wakey have just won away at Widnes

The biggest thing for us in recent years was IL buying the club. He has had an obsession with youth development and bringing in 'Wigan' people who have a passion for the club. His first coaching appointment was well researched and paid dividends. He has put in place a progression for coaches to gain experience and work their way up. The club as a whole is completely different since DW owned it.

Er...Bradford then? If they don't win their appeal, that is.

I still think Wakey will win fewer games than us this season.
