I agree with you, but given a straight choice between keeping Agar or installing Noble I'd take Noble in a second. I think people turning their noses up at Noble are crazy, at least he's worthy of being called a 'coach' unlike Agar.

I was so incensed I would not listen to the game and actually hoped we'd get beat convincingly to hopefully make the board wake up and dispense with the joke of a coaching set up we have.
I will not attend the last 2 home games and hope a lot more fans irrespective of being a pass holder or not will also do the same in protest.
An unsually low gate or 2 may make them sit up and take notice.
If Agar is still in charge I will not be renewing my pass next season. I have not felt like this about Hull for a very long time even when Walsh was in charge but I feel we are in a worse state than even then.'"

Hang on a minute though! It wouldn't be the new coaches team so we would no doubt finish 12th again! Honestly, this 'it's not my team' excuse is the worst in sporting history.
You could give someone from Outer Mongolia a basic guide to rugby league and they'd come up with better tactics etc. then Agar in under a week. In fact, maybe Sky could do a special edition of 'Are you smarter than a 10 year old.' Let Agar coach the Harlequins game and then let a 10 year old coach us for the Bradford game, I know who I'd tip to have a better game plan.

And if we beat Bradford our board would probably go out and give McNamara a 5 year contract

| I can't believe people are still really that bothered. There not going to listen to what the fans want, if they did that half the time anyway it would always be wrong decision.
Agar will be here till end of his contract at least and if he goes Jon Sharp will just come in.
I'm past the point of caring its easier.

| At the moment simply not having Agar , Sharp , Last , Crooks x2 and the rest of them would be infinitely better than having them. I can't think of a replacement that would actually make things worse. Lets face it Micky Mouse would be an improvement - and yes it would somehow be a poetic appointment by the board.

I know where you care coming from Pete, its a year now since last I graced the KC stadium and to be honest I have not really missed it. I think many others are now reaching the stage I did last year and it only hurts for a short while.

| If Agar's in charge next season, he will only last 7-8 games, by which team the season will be ruined. Therefore we need to get rid now before any more damage is done.

No but you'd still get people on here ousting Rule for appointing him (even though he didn't/won't have). The fickleness of FC fans happens at a very quickly alarming rate.
I mean next season will be a laugh when Sean Long comes in and despite the fact it will take him time to settle in and people to adapt there games to accomodate, if he don't perform first few games then he'll be ousted. His confidence will go and we will boo him any opportunity before you know it , we have another Thorman.
Its about time people started to realise thats its not only the coaching staff which could be a problem its half these players, either average, too unprofessional or shot of confidence. Players like Rich Horne, Paul King, Lee Radford, Ewan Dowes and you could argue after the last two seasons Kirk Yeaman, just ain't good enough to be in a club that wants to win the competition.
Sure bringing in a new coach might make things better but I guarntee any new coach that comes in will want to ship out 3/4's of this squad.
Agar is a problem but he is not on his own.

So do we do nothing? Keep the coach(es) and sack the players? The coaching staff have or should have the ability to improve the players and to build a team ethic. They have to go.

I agree Agar isn't the only problem and that the clearout of players needs to happen but the fact is the guy has proven he cant coach. His team selection is baffling, his tactics are mind-numbingly simple, he has no motivational skills, he admits he can't manage the interchanges, not a single player has improved under his leadership and he thinks completion rates are overrated ffs. He's proven he is incapable of doing his job and therefore he has to go.
It won't solve everything, but we will never get anywhere with him in charge.

| This whole "it isn't my team" thing is wearing quite thin on me. The mark of a good coach is getting the best out of what is available at the time; admittedly we do not have a top 4 squad of players but we do have a squad which is far more able then we are seeing and far better then a 33% win ratio.
In football when the bigger teams are flirting with relegation they often yield the axe and appoint a replacement, someone who in theory will get the best out of what is underachieving.
I have given Agar more time then most but i'm now spent with him. He had more then half a season last term, a full off season and has had the enitirity of this season and under his watch we have regressed.
Time to go Mr Agar

Never said that did I ?
I'm just pointing out that even if we did get a top coach we'd probably be only alittle better off, by this I mean scraping into the play offs.
We need better players at the end of the day.

If Agar was to go and we brought in what on paper is a better coach, we still won't be much better off. Sure a better coach will make them defend better and have an ounce of idea in attack but we'd still only get into the play offs. We wouldn't win anything because to be simple, half the playing squad ain't good enough, despite who is coaching them.
Players like Richard Horne who have being coached under 5/6 coaches and still nobody can teach him a way to undo a defence. Infact I think he once gave an inside pass a few seasons ago which we scored off and he's constantley just done that. Although he does have a good short kicking game.
Theres just far too many average in the squad, forwards who can't break tackles, penalty machines like Tickle and people who can't catch a cold like G Horne.
