| Player was off his feet too but will get fewer games than Watts in the stands.
Great photograph though.

Indeed. Almost a "must win" game, so delighted we won. Hopefully Kelly and Green back next week.

Who said that?!
Thought Hull played well up to the first sending off, regularly winning the contact and penalties off the back of it.
Wire’s halfbacks were abysmal, but. Patton was invisible until that awful ‘tackle’ and I was debating with myself whether I have a better kicking game than Tyrone Roberts showed tonight, or whether it would only be no worse. Tbf, it was a long day travelling for them and the rest looked like they should have enough to avoid the middle 8s this time round. Decent defensively and Clarke and Ratchford are quality.

Was almost a "must win" for us. The fact that Jake Connor was again pivotal was the icing on the cake.
Credit to both sides for decent handling in arctic temperatures.

| I’m really concerned for Faramaio
Sid Domic took too many hits and his life will most likely be hell with the aftershocks in years to come
He went down too easy and that’s what happens when you’ve been knocked out before
For the guys sake he should retire or pay the harshest of penalties much later in life
3 concussions is enough

| Defence was great to keep to 12 points
A win is always great
Onwards and upwards
A tale of 2 centres
Carlos was ahead of Griffin
I wonder what the metre and tackle count was
We need another Carlos on our right hand side
Apart from Yeamo starting 15 years ago who was our last very very good Hull born Centre ?

| Quote ="knockersbumpMKII"Thank fook we won, would have been miffed if we'd lost that. At least it wasn't as cold as I was expecting hahaha and colder in the home counties
We really need to sort this mental switch off, it's utterly ridiculous, at least twice after they had a man sent off they had overlaps, if it weren't for some errors from them at the line we'd have lost.
Fash had a great game as did Hadley, Faraimo and Carlos, sorry but Washbrook is dead wood, slow is being generous and costs us so much time when he's at dummy half. Litten must come in because against a decent side and without Houghton we'll be suffocated.
Faraimo won't be playing next Thursday as that's two concussions in three weeks, Radford said Kelly would be back.
I'd bring in Logan now, Griffin outside him, Masi for Turgut and Litten for Houghton.
Don't even want to talk about Watts but annoyed that Radford wouldn't admit it's a headbutt and then states that he should have done it properly ... ffs Radford, it's that kind of carp that you did that cost us against Leeds when you lost your temper against Bailey, [uyou've learnt nothing have you![/u
'"
Apart from back to back Challenge Cup Wembley victories and back to back semi-finals in our premier competition the last two seasons (fingers crossed OT this year).
I hope his comments didn't annoy you to the extent that it ruined your evening?
I had a chuckle at them.
Washbrook doesn't ever let anyone down and Radders probably thinks he is the safer option over Litten at the moment.
I'll go for our coach's judgement over yours.
Glad Faraimo is winning you round after you were questioning him after the St George game. (personally thought he had a decent game).
Looking like another very good Radders signing, don't you think?
Excellent 2 points
Onwards to Headingley.

| A mention for the captain last night. No doubt playing jabbed up a couple of weeks after surgery - 41 tackles, over 100 metres, 1 clean break. Leading from the front.

| Good to get the win and we were workmanlike in difficult conditions until the carlos try when we should have closed the game out but our inability to deal with kick offs causes us problems yet again. After that it was poor defence, compounded by errors and ill discipline that nearly cost us a game that we should have won at a canter.
We need to be mentally stronger and bring what has won us 2 challenge cups to the league.
Positives for me were the outside backs in general, our goal line defence which stood up to a huge amount of pressure in that last 20 minutes or so and the fact we won a game we looked like throwing away.
Negatives are the way we switched off at 18 nil and didn't seem able to switch back on, watts obviously, our slackness in defence around the PTB and the middle of the field which allowed wire far too many metres per carry.
We still struggle to open up a defence. Unless it's a bit of magic from kelly or something from a kick, we don't seem capable of creating opportunities and our passing of the ball and attacking structures are bang average.
faraimo was excellent until he was knocked out. It's a worry that it's happened again so soon after last time and you have to wonder what it means going forward. He won't play at leeds though so I'd expect griffin on the wing

| A good win . Some good defence at times . Still think our attack with ball in hand needs some massive improvement. Hopefully it will improve, but are struggling to open teams up .
I thought we lost the impetus when Connor had to move into the centres .
Good 2 points , but still room for improvement in mainly attack .

| Freezing conditions in March missing Houghton, Kelly and Paea. I would also hope we haven't peaked for 2018 quite yet.

| Decent win, should have been better than it ultimately ended up. At this stage of the season and with the weather as it is, I think most of us would take that with glee. Be tricky at Leeds

| Got to be happy with the two point last night. The conditions meant it was going to be a lottery and we were never going to see champagne rugby league.
It was good to see Carlos back to his best. He really is so important to the club, I'd love to see him sign an entension. A great player who goes about his business with no fuss and causes no problems.

| Does anyone on here think that the referee was a homer? As a neutral Warrington supporter it appeared to me that we were being pinged for stuff that Hull were allowed to get away with. No doubt we'll get the rub of the green when you come to the HJ but should we expect better from professional referees?

A neutral Warrington supporter?
Thaler was always going to try and even the penalty count up as it was heavily against Warrington after the first half, but we helped out with some daft penalties giving Thaler no choice.

No, he penalised the side who were under the pump and trying to slow down the other team. When we were on top he penalised were and vice versa.
He didn't give one penalty for offside all night and wire took full advantage.
No bias, just penalizing with the flow of the game which all refs do every week

| Thaler should have been stronger with Chris Hill.
He tried explaining things to Hill but he just showed a total lack of respect for the ref and just kept talking over him and arguing.

warrington came to spoil, notice many posters on the wire board claiming we slowed the ptb ball down, honestly, you were worse and got away with plenty, you were lucky not to be down to 12 men for consistent interference at the ptb shortly before half time, thaler penalising you at least 3 times and rightly so
apart from that 10 minute spell when you were down to 12 you rarely troubled us and looked average (must have been that cup final you played last week!!)

Warrington should have been on a team warning but weren't, Thaler actually was lenient toward Warrington frankly.
