to echo many other posts, this is in my opinion a good thing.....the crocker deal has been going on and on and its become a burden on the club, crocker and fc can now move on and hopefully fc will use the cash from crocker ..reported at £130,000 a season and put it to some use...we desperatly need some quality in the back line, a scrum half and a top centre would be ideal, and a barn-storming prop to repalce cusack cum 2010..
i will always wonder though how michael crocker would have got on at hull fc and im sure our game would have been considerably better if he had plyd his trade in the uk, but we will never know unfortunatly...its just an absolute shame that this has happend...

If Huddersfield sign Brough we should take McNally off their hands. Really young and scored 19 tries in 12 appearances and landed 36 goals. At least as much potential as Myler. If not, than Aaron Groom at Sheffield would be nice. Ideally I'd sign them both AND get a quality veteran to work with them next year. Of course there's no chance of this happening but I can dream.

Because he hates us with every fibre of his being, and has already demonstrated that his hatred influences his decisions. Plus losing Dobson would see KR's challenge for a top 6 finish evaporate. It might even cost them a playoff spot with the league being as tight as it is.

I don't doubt that had it been a player of lesser quality the club wouldn't of let it drag on for 6 months.

Not enough IMO, his last spell he had one great game (Leeds away), a few average ones and some very poor games.

Very injury prone, poor defender and always looked knackered on the pitch.

I hope we have learnt about signing injury prone players.

Its a shame cos we could do with his leadership and nastiness right now. But we are blessed with a strong back row at the club anyway, so you dont miss what you never had. Its time we paid for what weve needed for years, a strong running top drawer centre and a midfield general!

since then he's recovered from his injuries somewhat

but overall his injury record means I wouldn't want him long term

if we got an Aussie/Kiwi on a 6month deal for the rest of the season would the visa rules be any different because the player wasn't after permanent residency?
