I really hope Andre gets fit and free of injury, we can all see in the limited time he has played for us, he’s has quality, he will be like a new signing, my fingers and toes are crossed for a fully fit Savelio.

I think savelio is just one of them injury prone players, I’d be surprised if we see him play lots of consecutive games unfortunately

Pal was in his golf group for washy testimonial day and he said then he just wanted to get through this yr and smash pre season for next yr

Plenty of games he had an impact. A few games he was 1 of our best forwards. That's without an off season
He'd be usefull to have around the squad and use on occasions and when in need. But this is Gaz Ellis so I'd never rule him out making a position his on weekly basis

Exactly, without we wouldn't have beaten Wigan away, if we had lost that I think we could have been in trouble.

I'd have Ellis as a squad player only though next season.

I'd hazard a guess it's because in his career he's started 11 games at Prop and 10 games in the 2nd row. And he's played at prop from the bench far more times than he has at 2nd row. It's quite reasonable to list him as an option for either position.

Our main focus has to be getting and keeping him fit (as in "our", I mean him and the club), I am still a bit sceptical because of his injury record, I'll be delighted when my concerns are proven unfounded.

Cator signs and Ellis does another year which is a mistake imo

How much is he costing on the cap and who would you have signed instead?

Like the look of Cator, good signing with a bit of mongrel in him.
Ellis will only be used sparingly so it’s a no brainer having him in and around the squad.

Do you really believe that? Radford knows hes had a bad season or two and will play safe and Ellis will feature in the 17 a lot i reckon at the expense of energy from a new recruit. I know im just guessing but i cant seem him signing to be bit part or in the reserves. Ellis will play a lot and we'll have a weaker 13 or bench for it despite having a very strong squad for next season - he simply isnt needed now and it was time to move on imo

His main influence next year will be off the field. Having him on the training field most days, and occasionally used in games, will only be a good thing.
Can’t underestimate what an influence he is on the rest of the squad.

Joe Cator was great for us for most of the season, towards the end not so. Good luck to him, not sure if he's ready for a place in your starting line-up, and doesn't have an obvious position. But he does punch far above his size/weight.
