I will reiterate what I said a couple of days ago, Sammut is nearly a done deal, the player has agreed to come, now just a matter of agreeing fee.
Findlay has stated amount wanted and Rule is not far short - couple more days till completion.

I would imagine it's where these players are applying.

Sammut's currently being harangued on Twitter by an FC fan. He's trying to entice him to Hull on the premise the Hull derby is akin to a Final.

To be fair, though....he has managed a response from him.

I'm not convinced we should be paying a hefty fee for sammutt. He's a decent enough player but from what I've seen he lacks the organisational skills we're crying out for. I'm not sure what his kicking game is like but can't ever remember it so it's probably mediocre at best, plus he wants to go back to Oz.

It's OK having some cash to pay transfer fees, but they're really a requirement of a poor player development and recruitment strategy IMO

It's a well used and policed board where people aren't affraid to express their opinions without being crucified or diverted to a private forum.

Why are the club wasting money time and effort on an overseas player who wants to go back to the NRL? If Agar really had any forward thinking for this club he would have bought Briggs and Moore, told them you'll be second choice this season as they learn superleague, but next season you'll be first choice. I know we've got Nicklas, but he's just played u20's and 2 sub appearances iirc. Briggs and Moore have been proving themselves in the championship.
