The Airlie birds have been suspiciously quiet in the transfer market this season, but that’s about to change as out-of-favour Rhinos hooker Matt Diskin is weighing up his options following an offer from Hull’s Kath Hetherington to her beloved husband and Leeds chief Gary. Instead, it looks likely we'll spend our last quota space on someone no-ones ever heard of, a LF when we've got 2 rarely tried naturals plus Fitz, and [ianother [/i bluddy hooker 
Robinson's performance yesterday only further convinced me the solution to the halves issue is right under our nose and he plays hooker too. No need for Diskin or Ravioli or whatever his name is.

Yep. And in Robinson's case we could potentially load a 2 year deal to the second year if it's a salary cap issue as it seems pretty unlikely both Long and Horne will be retained beyond 2011. |

So because we would rather Robinson and Chase come to the club, and we would rather put in an offer for them then say Westy or Rovelli, it immediately means that they will/want to come? What if they LIKE it at their current clubs?
Are people seriously thinking that Chase would come here? Don't get me wrong, I would love him at the club, but he is involved in everything at Cas and it would take something pretty special to move him away IMO.

Robinson has always harboured a soft spot for Hull, and expressed an interest some years ago IIRC.
If we employed your philosophy, we'd never approach anyone. Take Diskin, for example. =#000000If we have spoken to him, it's obviously come as a bolt from the blue, but now has to consider coming to Hull [ibecause[/i we've gone for him. |
