As the commentary team said last night , Rankin needs to be in the 17 somehow. He is far too good to be seen as a squad player.

So the choice is Rankin who can attack but cant defend or Yeaman who's the polar opposite

I understand the need to get Rankin in the team, but he's not a Centre, he's never played there and his defence is nowhere near good enough for the position. Another myth, like him playing 9!

Having released two centres (Crooks and Arundel) we seem a bit short there. What are our options?



As 1865 says Rankin is not a centre and IMO never will be.



Whiting is not a centre either and is injured anyway.



Is Sa likely to be injured (again)?



Logan did well against Leeds last year but isn't he injured too?



Yeaman is good defensively but offers nothing in attack.



It looks like it will have to be Yeaman and Michaels against Leeds. I just hope Michaels' head is right.

WADA are suggesting that none of the players accused are likely to be banned for drugs misuse, and the lawyer defending them is saying that the case against them is very weak, but he would do, I guess.
