If you read the Dentist Diary posted this morning you will read about Rovelli who incidentally is Italian. I was told that we had asked about him and spoken to him by one person who comes on here and two readers from Australia. To me it seems like a waste of a quota place but who knows he might just be the cover we need. He played 68 games for New Zealand Warriors and 21 for his current team. Good a few seasons ago pretty patchy now!

from what ive seen of rovelli,he could be ok as cover for a season.whatever agars faults his signings on the whole have been good.anyway for all that its just another rumour.

The problem with bringing someone to cover the halfs and hooking role is that they'll never get settled, if longs out, as the half.

All we want is someone to organise us and have a good long range kicking game.

When you swap him around we'll get no continuity.

Never rated Rovelli at the Warriors, would rather have someone like Briggs.

If we do sign someone like Rovelli/Herbert I hope it's a one year deal with a better option coming next season.

Yes definately a running/support player than a pivot, personally I would rather have the pivot right now.

Yet again Agar gets it all wrong. Who in their right mind would want to fly accross the world to be back up? We need a top quality half with Horne/Long sharing the other position depending on whos fit which on last years form will be none of them.
