Don't agree with that TBH. He's not been at his best, but to me he's still been the pick of our front row, got stuck in and tried to look for offloads.

It's no good trying to point out things like that. Much easier to blame Hall for everything and not face the fact that he isn't the only problem.

If we played repeat sets on their line until the final whistle, we still wouldn't score.

TBH, I'd probably number myself amongst them. In general, I think golden boy Briscoe is every bit the defensive liability Hall is, but seems to avoid the same level of criticism.

It doesn't help that both are playing on the wings with the positional sense of centres, but Hall has been extra poor today, there's no getting away from that.

There's still a recruitment/selection issue when you let yourselves end up going into a season with only 1 real winger though.
