I would be delighted if we renewed Big Sams contract and paid a transfer fee for Brough, if that's what it took to get him here

Brough would jump at the chance of coming back here. I just don't see it happening

I'd have Brough back any day, I'd also have Finch, both could bring a lot to the side

Eastmond was a different kettle of fish, he was injured a lot and his attitude was awful especially towards his own supporters and when he did play he was poor at best. Those 3 factors contributed to the amount of time he played in his last season.

Different altogether,Eastmond took the pi$$ big style in 2 different games where he clearly wasn't even trying, a friend of mine was a guest of Royce at one of the games and as an ex pro himself was disgusted with Eastmonds lack of effort,Royce finally dragged him off after over an hour and there wasn't even a mark on his shirt or shorts and he was booed every step of the walk off by the saints fans. So to compare the 2 players is out of order unless Turner pulls the same stunt which i would say is highly unlikely.

He would love to come back to Hull.

I think at this stage though we have more chance of Finch

see your point, Seymour played brilliantly, looked like he was playing his own natural game of covering the whole pitch instead of just one side, excellent distribution, maybe Horne to 1 and Brough to 6 if we managed to get him, Brough's pace and kicking could add a lot but yeah Huddersfield wouldn't just let him walk I reckon

Getting Brough back to us would be as massive as signing Ellis imo because of what he brings to the team. Dont see it happening though

i dont think hull are expecting to get him for free, but if brough turns round and tells huddersfield he wants to leave they know they cant expect to get top dollar for him

It's not to spite anyone, but any game time he has now will ultimately benefit Saints. Put Martin in and rotate him with Crooks to develop him for next year.

Gentle n co did say the master plan was to bring in top English players so maybe Broughy isnt as leftfield as some on here are making out. think he would have a more noticeable impact for us then Finch

Only what I've been told but due to the circumstances regarding his departure Brough has nothing but distain for Hull Football Club. Again only what I've been told but Finch is the wanted target long with another forward whom I'm told is a done deal.
