It's not a rumour, and not our player, but if we'd got wind of Eden being available I wouldn't have minded him over McDonnell. Think it's a strange one Hudds letting him go, hope I'll be proved wrong.

Never understood why the fixture lists are such a closely gaurded secret. Its hardly sensitive information.

Only game I want to really know about is the away game at Catalans, to see if it fits with work commitments.

Eden has far too many errors in him, I know it was his first year of SL but catching a ball is pretty fundamental, and an important part of a full backs role.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Rovers didn't enquire on the off-chance, he'll have been told he can find another club and I'm pretty sure his agent would have touted him around.

Not quite sure what's going on at Hudds, tbh. Really looks like Anderson will have a job on his hands.

Agreed, new kits etc. I can understand, but the fixtures should just come out as soon as agreed, especially the Catalans one's to allow people time to plan.

I think its because they go through that many drafts, if they released them earlier then kept changing there would be many a hissyfit to be had

This was everyone gets to know the game days and they are then set in stone and not a single one will get changed

The fixture lists are sent to airlines and hotels in France, London and Manny so that the paying public are properly screwed on higher prices.

From what I've seen, it's the high ball and positional play that worry me about McDonnell too though. Eden is younger, British, and has more potential IMO. Like I say, I hope to be proved wrong.

With regards to Hudds, I have a sneaky feeling that Anderson may be ruffling feathers and some players perhaps don't want to play for him.

I got to agree , I like Eden as a player and has great potential imo and would have liked to have seen him in an fc jersey . Good signing by R*vers.

Maybe it is Nathan Brown being found out - his recruitment/players not really very good. We will find that out next year at Saints.

If Goldies shoulder is ok get him signed up.Looks like he is after 2 years instead of the 1 we are offering.

Not a chance it should be two years! If we sign him it's a stop gap for a year, we would we want to go giving him two?

A player will come available during the season, they nearly always do. We should bide our time.

I'm still hoping we wont need to sign McGoldrick .

Mcgoldrick would be waste of a signing, he isn't good enough for a team hat wants to in he top four, we already have Horne signed on as the halfback and FB cover.

After horne I woud rather see shall and nicklas play to see what they can do.

If McGoldrick's shoulder is ok and he will sign for a year I would take him.

If he insists on two years we should say no thank you and wait to see who becomes available.

We have added Holdsworth and still have Horne, Seymour and Heremia for the halves, where would be fit in ?

I wouldn't want to sign McGoldrick and then find we can't fit in a top HB if one becomes available because of his wage.

We already have an improved HB pairing over last year, lets see who becomes available.

Our first choice halves will be Seymour and Holdsworth with Horne and possibly Nicklas as cover.

Horne will also be covering full back.

IMO Heremaia should be spelling with Houghton at hooker, not acting as a makeshift scrum half.

If we can get McGoldrick cheap enough he can cover both full back and half back and I think that would be good business.
