The Kelly situation is a conundrum, he doesn't (as I understand it) have a contract beyond this season , Pearson wants a strong FC in the future (and now), he said complacency has been set aside in the HDM article today, an interesting season ahead, especially when you read Houghton can slot in to 13, maybe an admission that Ellis is now in his second season too far?

(and yes, he has been a great player, before I get slated)

Look at the games so far this weekend, a lot of players over 30 qnd hardly a product Sky can sell to advertisers.

Hello everyone, back from our warm weather retreat, and looking forward to the start of the season at Headingley on Sunday. With the abundance of choices in our back line up, Radders has some difficult decisions to make, and obviously sometimes he will have to disappoint players, perhaps Albert late knock at Batley has influenced this particular choice, or as JTP states perhaps Connor has looked the business at six, Albert may have got in shape, but that would be the minimum requirement, whatever team Radders selects, they have to perform, or risk being dropped, a very healthy position for our team.

Reserves win 20-18, Lewis Bienek scoring in the last minute.

Isnt bienek on a season long loan at leigh? If he is how can he play for our reserves?

I saw Bienek with Kelly and a few of the other younger lads in Total Fitness last night and wondered why Bienek wasn't at Leigh. You wouldn't have thought he could play for Hull while on loan.

He was injured in the 1st minute of the first friendly and hasn't played since, I'm sure Leigh were as keen as everyone else for him to get some game time.



I can't imagine Leigh would have signed off the loan paperwork until he'd proved his fitness.

Connor has been nothing special in the pre season games playing 6 against weak opposition.He was also been given extended game time at 6 last season and failed miserably.Most fans can see he is not a six.
Kelly has not been given much game time at six pre season so it seems Radford has given in to the sulking Sultan.

Seems to be a sicknote.
Had real hope for this lad given his size and pace but surely you cant be that unlucky with injuries.
Make or break season for him.Can see the club moving him on at the end of the season.
