Up until earlier this week Manu was telling people that he hadn't signed for anyone yet. Hence the continued interest in WTF is going on.

Not entirely sure why he's doing that, perhaps to save face with the fans?

Perhaps it's not being announced at his request so he can play the rest of the season out before announcing his move?

What's annoying me is the bull articles that we keep seeing.

I'd respect the players more if they just came out and said that they were leaving, every article so far has come out after the rumour mill has started.

There appears no interest in resigning for us so just say so and why.

If the club are trying to save face with the press releases knowing full well they are leaving then they are just as bad.

We've been served enough lies and bull over the last 5 years that I hoped a new honest approach would be brought to the table by the new regime. Something Adam alluded to when he first bought the club if I remember correctly.

For once I agree with Mike smith from rovers in that this anti tamper rule needs sorting as it's a waste of time.

We should drop him and put Martin in when he's fit. Don't wanna be developing other clubs' players for them.

I wouldn't play him either, don't think he offers us that much more than another player. Develop crooks more and rotate him with Martin to avoid burnout

Totaly agree , do you think the fearing of getting dropped is maybe behind the players reasons for not anouncing that they are leaving untill as late as possible

We need increased attendances now, though, not in 1-2 years time, and that requires winning games. Need our best players on the pitch regardless of what happens next year. Following that line of argument, do we drop Manu for Kent?

Why do people think it's a good idea not to play our best 17 each week just to spite players who might be leaving? I count myself as pretty vindictive but even I think that's a daft idea.

I think we all knew and expected turner to go so no big news but I reckon he could turn out to be a good player . Nothing we can do if he wants to be nearer to Salford and doesn't want to play for us . Think we also know arundal and crookes are coming in but I wonder who crookes is to replace . Everyone seems to think its briscoe , but I reckon it could be sharp . Surely we'd had offered him a new deal by now if briscoe was going , and he's been in good form . I'd like to keep sharp personally but find it odd there's been no new contract and were linked with crookes .

Crookes would be a poor signing imo. Would rather promote Lineham for next season than bring in the average (IMO of course) Crookes.

I like most I'm sure, find the the thought of departing players mid-season a lil off putting and sometime annoying at thought of losing good assets.....however this is life in RL?
Two thoughts...
One: If a player wants to be away and makes it known publicly so early through the current season....should he be 2nd choice pickings. They have made their intentions clear and publicly known.....so develop and give someone else a chance who wants to be at Hull FC.

Two: Heres the flip side....Would you want a player you have or are signing from another team sat in reserves for the remainder of the season??

both would be brilliant signings but we would have more chance in signing Finch. I can't see us signing Brough and I'm sure he wouldn't want to sign with us again.
We need to try and keep hold of Moa for aslong as possible.

I think Kosh, because despite being "professionals", in almost every example of this situation - the player never maintains the form he is capable of. And playing someone in our team that clearly doesn't want to play for us, sends out a terrible message to the rest of the squad. I'd argue it could potentially cause more disruption than the alleged disharmony Ellis's wages would.
