If you haven't got tickets for this yet I'd buy soon, the ticket website is saying it has a high volume of traffic, todays good games seem to have created a surge in ticket sales. Would imagine the final blocks of the KC will be put on sale soon.

With all that's gone on this week with super league as well as the sheer presence of Mcbanana, I wasn't excited at all, but after todays game I'm converted.

I agree that today's games have been a big shot in the arm for the game. England where competitive and with a bit of luck and some more compusure could have won. And then Wales & Italy showed that they can play some decent rugby too, and that there's more to the World Cup than just Aus, England & NZ.

Watching Wales v Italy I can see how the Italians got one over on us. They've got some very handy blokes in their team.

Yep, got told a few days ago that there was going to be some disappointed people who expect to be able to walk up and pay. Looking like there won't be any tickets to do that.

Can see crowds all round being up after such a positive start, all 3 games so far have been great viewing and tonights NZ-Samoa match and tommorow's Fiji-Ireland game have sold out too.

People are realising that the rugby's good, and that they won't be able to walk up and get good seats at most grounds on the day.

Glad I bought my final tickets ages ago. I doubt you will be able to get more than a few seats in a row now.

Great stuff, I'm really pleased. I was seriously worried that the WC would be an embarrassment to the league, but it could actually be the making of the international game and might even have a positive effect on attendance at league level next year.

Any news on sales today? Fiji look like entertainers, with some real briliance in the backs. They may well lack the structure and discipline to win, but it'll be a decent challenge for England.

Annoyingly I will be visiting Mrs Diablo's family in Hull a fortnight later, can't really justify the trip twice in that space of time. I'll feel less guilty for my lack of support if it sells out!

booked it off work but my boss has overridden it (I don't have any holiday, it's part time so I can control my availability online). Can't pull a sicky because the boss already knows a load of the lads from work are going and I doubt he's that thick. Will it be worth walking out?

For those who still need tickets, a previously unreleased block at the KC has gone on sale W7 in the West Stand, tickets are £40 though, but they are the only place you are going tog et 2 seats together now.

This comment isn't correct. I've just checked and you can get several seats in a row in N2 & N6 in the North Stand and as mentioned above W7 is now available.

If your still interested in tickets then go on the World cup website and check availability through there.

Big choice in W7 on Rows G,H J,K you can still get upwards of 10 tickets together.

that block must have been reserved for officials or players families etc with it being above the tunnel/dug out?

The block above the tunnel in upper west is also now on sale, maybe they've realised that they can get £40 for these seats and have moved the dancers elsewhere? Either that or its been a Ticketmaster error.

Where is the best place to park? In the past I have parked at the ground but email from RLWC recommends Park & Ride. Is parking at the ground not an option now/ pre-booked only? Thanks

You could park in Walton Street which is usually £5 but best bet from out of town would probably be park & ride.
