When you look at all of the average NRL players who end up here then it's pretty obvious that a player like Yeaman would hold his own in the NRL, maybe even do well with a bit of service

you tell me? as your obvously an nrl expert.... i can only go on what i hear in the media...and as far as im aware, yeamans name has never been a hot topic down under

the reason the majority of average nrl players end up in the uk is that they cant get in the starting line-up back home..... simple fact that not many quality backs end up in the uk from the NRL....

But you said they never came calling at his peak, I have no idea if any nrl clubs contacted him.

Now, if it's true then I hope we've recieved a fee, or it's been done to bring in a TOP half (and by that I mean a half with their career AHEAD of them), if that hasn't happened and we don't get a fee then we've been plain stupid.

A big turn around if true,with him taking up another year and getting himself off the quota.I am not a big Berrigan fan and think he was a little over paid for the service we got from him so imo no big loss. I think we agree on something.

If the berrigan rumour plays out to be true then we really need to bring in a quality half back or hooker. I know we all (and probably agar) had berrigan down to play in the centre next season but the fact is we only have one other recognised (and inexperienced) hooker at the club.

If we replace berrigan with monoghan then we'll be losing a hooker/back rower/makeshift half back/centre and replacing him with a centre/winger. Will massively reduce our options and place a massive burden on houghton.

I just don't see that houghton/washbrook rotating at hooker and westerman as our back up half back leaves us in a great position

It wasnt just a comment they also showed footage of Berrigan playing for Broncos, i dont think i would of believed it either but i can't remember Wally lewis just coming out with a comment he didnt believe.he is the inside man of queensland rugby league.
I hope he's wrong because we look a little light on the squad and to replace now will be difficult.
