Both Rovers overseas props are pinching money, Sims isn't big enough and Vete looks like they ordered Chris Satae off wish. They'll really struggle if Parcell or Linnett are injured for a while.

You're right about Vete. He played far more games in the NRL than Satae and also played a handful of games for Melbourne in their championship winning team so I was expecting big things from him.

Sims as every Rovers fan will tell you is bang average as well. Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane has never been so apt.

Takairangi came over with a big reputation and hasn't produced. To be fair he is probably distracted at the moment.

All three were Rovers big quota signings last season and all failed to deliver. I found it remarkable how well Rovers did despite having on paper at least a mediocre squad. They also had quite a few injuries as well. It just exemplifies what a good coach Smith must be.
