| Pearson seems to be telling prospective new signings that whatever terms are agreed they don't really mean anything, he will rip up their contracts should he ever feel like it. Why would anyone sign for a club that does that?
It will be interesting to see who leaves but I don't know why anyone should agree without substantial settlement. Abdull has probably been too honest he should have waited to be sacked and collected a pay off.
Adam Pearson is as culpable as anyone else if indeed Hull have awarded long contracts to players who they now don't want. In truth this happens to every club at times what you shouldn't do is announce to the world who the slackers are and then hope someone will pay good money for them. Especially if you have already spent their wages on others.
Radford is right the next few weeks will be long & difficult but they will pass. Next season will arrive everyone will be on nil points and Hull will have pretty much the same squad IMO. And the vast majority of fans will have renewed their season tickets.
But hey I am just a Rovers troll just like when I told you that your problems were far deeper than a few injuries. Adam Pearson at least, now agrees with that.

F.C. must be really proud to have such an eloquent individual as a supporter.

Looks like Pearson's clear the decks takes another twist.
He wants to get rid of players but only if someone pays the club a transfer fee, I thought expecting players just to walk away from legally binding contracts was pushing it a bit, expecting another club to pay for the privilege is almost laughable.
Looks like Donny will have a decent side next year.

But Hull and Radford wnat to keep Abdul, we don't actually want rid, so they are demanding a fee, quite right IMO.
Same as can't just release players we don't want, we have to either hope they find a club or pay them off, it's a two way street.
I'm pretty sure that Pearson and Radford will get rid of the players they want too, players like Abdul, Talanoa will find other clubs quite easily, it just might still cost Perason to pay them off a bit to make up the gap in wages.

The article is about Abdull wanting to leave, a player who Hull have invested in for many years.
They've even recently offered him a 2 year contract extension.
Absolutely nothing to do with breaking legally binding contracts.
It's your post that is laughable, I guess you've never heard of transfer fees before.

Being a Dobbin, he probably thinks players are queuing up to jump ship and join them for nowt a la Paul Cooke.

They maybe did want to keep him but according to their statements no longer want to do so if he wants away. A view apparently shared by some supporters. It is natural to reject a player who has rejected their club. According to most posts he had been rubbish anyway this season. Last year posts were thanking us for developing an F.C. player. Tim Sheens did and he showed that even against super league clubs. I wonder why he has not developed further this season. He seems to have gone backwards under the Radford regime

He couldnn't get a game with sneyd, connor and kelly playing then he got injured and missed most of teh season so what do you expect him to do? The club obviously rate him and the supporters' view is irrelevant. Hull wanted him to stay so it's natural they would hold out for a fee for him

I don’t expect him to do anything as I have no interest in where he plays. I was merely commenting on his apparent lack of development since returning to your club. The supporters view may be irrelevant from a contract and playing point of view but is interesting how their view of him has changed over the past 12 months. Still I suppose supporters are a fickle lot as they want half the team sacking.,

He has potential, he has been given an opportunity but he hasn't taken it, it's ok standing out against the likes of Widnes, Halifax and London but harder to do it against the better teams, I can hardly remember him creating an opportunity since he returned from injury.
I still think he could be a good SL player, but he needs to find his bestvppsition and I think a year or two in the championship would do him good.
Shame it hasn't worked out, but I don't think Hull can blamed for him not developing yet

To be fair he’s come in playing behind a beaten pack he’s not really going to look that good I think he’s a good player does seem a bit high maintenance though

Whilst I agree, you would think it 8 or so games, he would create something even behind a beaten pack, there has been times in games when the pack has been top and he still hasn't created anything except from a bomb, Rovers at home being the perfect example.
I'm sure there is a good SL player in him, but he hasn't shown it consistently yet

Should have you in charge of Brexit with these super negotiation skills. That idiot Pearson eh, even if he is willing to let him leave for nothing, coming out and saying that is purely idiotic. If there is the slightest chance of getting a fee then surely the right thing to do is try. IMO Abdul will join you for free, but if someone offers even 10k then we are 10k richer.

| COACH Radford in Mail saying be thankful we finished 6th
I seem to remember hearing that after the CC loss we would use the spare weekends off to rest ahead of achieving our goal of winning then GF
Now it’s just excuses
First the injuries , then the players and now be thankful we didn’t get relegated.
Also the line about younger players benefitting , well weve been hearing that old chestnut for years
Which 18-20 year olds benefitted from the first debacle under Radford in 2014-15, when we blooded them ? Answers please
Winning = Entertainment = season pass sales
AP will be crazy to stick with Radford if we lose all 11 on the spin - totally mind boggling

| I think the overarching problem this season is how we were pushed into survival mode i.e. "survive these injuries and avoid the middle 8". I think some blame lies with Radford for the team taking their foot off the gas once that was achieved.
However, that shouldn't take away from the fact some players ran their blood to water and are clearly fatigued beyond capacity to put in a decent 80 minutes.
Ultimately I can't wait for season end and hope the club are looking at the strength and conditioning and medical side of things to improve injury prevention and management.

| If Hock's head is in the game then he is exactly the type of prop we are missing, close to Watts style and caused us a lot of problems in the cup, I'd take him on a cheap one year deal.
Hanson although a decent hard working player I wouldn't be so keen on, too similar to the players we already have

Thats the problem though with Hock as his head is very rarely in the game, as good as he used to be he is simply no longer any where near the player he was, plus he comes with way too much baggage. Even if he came super cheap is he really what the club needs or wants?
I agree he's the type of forward we need and that's one who can bust a tackle or two and has decent hands but Hock just isn't the answer.
Can't believe we'd bin Watts and end up replacing him with Hock

| The hock rumour is clearly Shiite as it would fly in the face of everything Radford has talked about in terms of culture at the club plus he's garbage and a liability on the field. He's hardly pulled up any trees in the championship either.
Harrison Hansen is ok but wouldn't add anything at all other than another body. Chris Clarkson is garbage and even rovers don't want him.
If these are the type if player we are looking to sign then thank God they're binning the middle 8s

But are they Jake? Perhaps, some say, because its not his idea, Hetherington is whipping up the Championship and Division One Clubs who don't get televised week in week out and thus carry the profile of the game (many of whom who have no ambition to go full time or be in Super League at all, but who take their Sky money every year), to turn down the other 11 Super League Clubs who are struggling for gates under the current regime, quite frankly I doubt anything will change much at all.
