Final word on this. The wording I quoted says "potentially libellous" and the last time anyone looked, it was for judges and courts to decided what was libel, not the person making the point.

Two other points you will have noted after reading the AUP thread at the top of the board (you did read it didn't you?)

1. The very first sentence says "This is a fan-run site, we do not have a team of solicitors, and none of us involved in running this site are willing to risk it being taken to court"

2. "This site costs several thousands of pounds per year to run and these rules have been developed over several years in order to protect both the site and its members. Nobody makes any money from RLFANS, we are all just volunteers who give up our time and energy for nothing other than to support our game.

There are two options for anyone using the site: either follow the rules, whether you like them or not, or stay away".

That should be pretty clear. Anything considered potentially libellous will be removed, along with (potentially) the poster.

I will be quite pleased if he doesn't sign, not a bad player, but would rather give game time to one of the younger players, who have far more potential.

You would have thought they would have got him signed before the season starts if it was going to happen.

I would still look to loan out some players though, for game-time and it would give is some money to play with if we have injury problems later in the week.

Not disappointed. Save the cap space in case we need a specialist hooker during the season. Houghton's non injury record is fantastic but he's not indestructible.

Not disappointed, as my earlier post might have suggested. Still can't believe how big he's got compared to his Leeds days, but aside from that the only thing he'd cover that we actually need cover in is the goal kicking department – and I don't exactly remember him being particularly brilliant at that. We're in trouble if Sneyd or Houghton gets a long term injury, but Smith can't help in either case. If we think he's cover for full back, he's obstructing one of Shaul or Naughton. If we think he's cover for wing he's doing likewise with Lancaster. Centre, likewise with Logan. These boys need to be playing now, and they're all better players than Smith IMO.

Radford's penchant for a mediocre senior player over a promising youngster remains a concern for me. Yeaman making the squad for tonight another case in point.

Happy he's moved on. Looked a tad out of shape and he's a cast off. Keeping one of our youngsters makes me happier.
