Newton is cocky. I don't like Murrell or Cockayne - don't think they're cocky, just nasty. Vella's a bit niggly. The rest appear quite mild-mannered, I'd say.

I think the comment was bit ill-judged, but it was the aftermath of a derby where everyone in the media was saying we had absolutely no chance. If you listened to the RH build-up, Burns was at the KC and could find no one to back Hull. Even Murdock was using the old "form goes out of the window" non-commital stance. Agar had also had a rough time at the fans forum in the week, plus the withdrawal of the talismanic Fitz. These games are stressful for us in the stands, so that must be multiplied 10 fold for Agar. The guy's been a model of measured aftermatch comments over the last 2 years, and I think his relief, and maybe annoyance at a perceived lack of respect towards us both by Rovers and the media in general, spilled over in that comment. Many have slated a perceived lack of passion in him. I'm not an Agar fan, but I think this was a rare public manifestation of it.

Did you not see the warm up when the players were practising try celebrations, and then they moved and started to warm up near the west stand tunnel!! Arrogant and cocky to me mate !

I will say that Agar seemed put out by comments that Hull are in a false position and lucky to be there.If he rattles a few cages,then he has my vote.

As for the Dobbins as soon as the players pull on that e red and white shirt they come across as cocky....can't stand any of them, the staff or the majority of the fans!

To be fair, I heard Rich on Humberside straight after the game and he was being lead constantly by the commentator asking constant questions over whether they where too confident, never heard the word cocky mentioned or the hairstyles concerned, think a lot of it is the usual HDM mischief and misquoting!

It's is a brave statement though to say a player actually rang them!

Anyone that lives in Hull knows for a fact that rovers fans were cocky. We were underdogs. I went expecting to lose. We didn't, and they can live with it now, they are not as good as they think they are. I don't want them in the playoffs mind!!!

Even Gwyllum Lloyd who never predicts scores stated it would be a win to Rovers and even gave a score 25-12, Murdock was the one who thought Hull would do it.

To say the Rovers fans where cocky is an understatement .I took my wife and daughter to the match on Thursday , before the game we went for a bit of tea. Well during this time the pub started to get pretty full because every one had the same idea .Now this pub is in West Hull .I knew there was a few rovers fans that used it but fxxk me they came climbing and scrambling out of there hovels .They all know that I am 100% black and white .So to say that I came in for a fair old bit of stick would be true . Because I was expecting a bit of a doing I just kept quiet and took the slagging . Now I think that this attitude was running right through the red and white camp ,from players down to the fans .
But at the end of the night what a beautiful feeling I could not wait to get back to the pub and return some of the sh|t that I had put up with .Was there any rovers fand there was there FxxK they had all crawled back in to the little hovels that they live in

I heard chris park on blunderside before the match saying how he couldn't see how rovers were favourites given relative league positions and Hull's home form. Problem is he sounded as if he had his tongue planted firmly in his cheek and was actually expecting to gloat as his beloved dobbins won at a canter.

Also heard some idiot dobbins fan post match ringing in to complain that the doc was getting more excited about Hull's tries than rovers'. He also said that ifc both sides had been a full strength rovers would have won. Fair play to gollum who basically told him to talk about the match or get off the radio

After leaving the Wakefield game in the car home I forecast Hull would win ..My mate stated if Hull beat Rovers he would kiss my shoes ..Well he got a Text after the game that my shoes are waiting and I have been walking in all the Dog Sh-t I could see
