Elima might bring something to our pack that has been sadly missing...a big nasty B'stard.

I agree, think he would be a good signing.

I've always liked Elima for that reason but with a back row giving penalties away as if there were sweets , Gentle will have some work to do.

Elima is the French captain - if we're signing internationals that's fine by me.

In that case, I reckon a fair few of the Ireland squad would be willing to come to us.

Heard Chris Heigheton (?) from west tigers and Jack Reed from Brisbane wouldn't argue if true but will wait an see.

Elima would be good signing imo as Fc Baldy says we need a nasty bar steward in the middle and would bring experience to the sqaud only concern is his indiscipline.

Did read that Jamie Shaul in the under 21's has signed a full time deal with us as well might get a look in at full back this year the way were going.

Can't see us bringing in another centre unless Arundel is considered a backup, particularly not one of Reed's quality.
Besides unless he has a burning desire to return to England then I can't see Reed leaving the NRL.

The forwards we've been linked with upto now watts , lovegrove , elima and even pitts can all play in the back row as well prop . Could maybe sign all 3 as well as a nrl prop if tickle goes as well . Manu Moa omeley tickle out , 4 in .

this proposal to have quick, mobile forwards that can play either in the front or back rows is all good and well, if you have a couple of big, impact props to complement them. Otherwise the bigger packs in SL will have them for breakfast.

I agree but four main props of watts lynch ocarroll and a decent nrl would be ok . I'd take the 4 I mentioned plus McDonnell and a decent half wouldn't give us such a bad team / squad .
