If there was a separate comp for 'training the house down' we'd be in the final every year!!! I'm glad we do 'train the house down' though. We've won 2 out of the last 11 games by doing that - I'd hate to think what would happen if we only trained half the house down.....

I`m pro Long,always have been.Wished we had him at his peak.I was excited when we signed him,but admit it has been disappointing.I will never call him as a player though.

he had a good 15 minutes, and then an even better 6 minutes when Obst replaced him.

Only problem is these days he has one eye facing Cottingham and the other facing Nottingham

Me too, if anyone needed replacing it was Horne who was shocking. Long looked quite sharp but is an easy target for the fans.

Obst looks the best of the three IMO.

Would still play him at hooker off the bench tbh but he has done well. The thing is Obst would have made no difference on Friday imo.

Long didn't do too bad to be honest. I just think we needed Obst on for the full game.

I could be wrong here, but were the halves really the issue on Friday? We created plenty of chances but just failed miserably to convert them to points.

Not sure that subbing Long for Obst would have resulted in the removal of the butter from Briscoe's fingers TBH.

Horne's passing was woeful, Briscoe wasn't totally at fault.

I've seen Horne have terrible passing games before, so that's fair enough. Can't really blame it on Long though.

I don't blame Horne's passing game on Long, I had three issues with Long on Friday.

1) He shouldn't have started, Horne/Obst worked well the week before at Wigan, Long isn't the big star he used to be, he should work for his place.
2) He tried the same tactic about 15 times and it worked about twice, when he did start taking the line on he did make breaks, but it was all half d in my opinion
30 When he went off and Obst came on (with a whole 6 minutes to change things) the team seemed lifted in some way, Obst works much harder than Long.

Just about everyone had a shocker on Friday, as I have said a fair number of times.

Listening on Humberside it sounded like Long played ok.

Long didn't train today and Phelps pulled out. Both ok for Sunday according to James Smailes on twitter
