Now our anthem......We adopted that in the early 1900's......It was sang to a then player of ours, Joe Oliver....Who never failed to score (a bit like Tom Briscoe

)....At the time the song was in the UK 'hit parade' (or old fashioned charts).
It is arguably THE OLDEST SPORTING ANTHEM IN THE WORLD, not counting national anthems. I believe Brighton football team also have an old anthem...but not as old as our Old Faithful !

You lot on the other hand.......need to ADOPT.....not PINCH an anthem if you wanna be as classy as us!!!!

Tough early on but think Leeds coming into form at right time will be too strong in the end.

I predict the classic near yet so far performance from Hull FC. We'll be with a chance of winning with a few minutes remaining and then something will happen and we'll end up shipping a couple of soft tries and losing by 14 and that'll be the end of the season.

However, regardless of how many points we shipped last week i came away from Shedingley quite optimistic on our prospects for this week, we lost by 16 points missed a few goals, couldve sneaked it, ok Leeds had a purple patch in the 2nd half but early on in the game i just thought that it wasnt the Leeds of the past 3 years despite their recent problems. were well capable of matching (probably getting on top of) the Leeds pack, for me its down to the likes of Whiting and Hall to raise their game. Hopefully we'll have a decent halfback pairing on show that will provide opportunities for the team on the back of a pack on top.

And why your not banned from on here with your constant abuse and bad language of other posters is beyond me.
