I think it must be down to the fact that Agar is just too good, and too charasmatic. Only the top top players deem themselves worthy to come.

So we couldnt match Saints and Wigans offers of playing in a decent side. Offer doesnt always mean cash, it means playing for a good coach at an aspirational club. We fail on both counts.

Wigan will still hold his registration I reckon but just wondered if it was his agent that got the Aussie interest on Hocks behalf to ease his way back in without the inevitable stick and pressure he will get from playing in the UK.

Pretty much how I see it, although I think the pecking order of Lauaki and Fitzgibbon for propping duties will/should come down more to which prop it is that's missing, rather than having a set order.

Think you're looking for a bigger problem than is there on this one. How many other teams in SL have 2 really good quality forwards just waiting in the wings for injuries to get a game? Most have 1 and then fringe/younger players looking to take their chance, same as us.

Tickle, Manu, Laukai, Fitzgibbon, Washbrook, Burnett, and arguably Whiting. That's 7 players for what amounts to 4 places in the 17, how many more spares would you like us to carry?

Not forgetting Cunningham, Turner and also Berro for loose man if we're pushed.

We gave Green a full time deal recently and he is a back row also.

So if the Westerman rumours are true, then we just need to bring in maybe another 4 and we're about set.

Might be the fact the didn't want to live or commute to hull.

Add Ben Crooks to that.
