Agree about Fitzgibbon,couldn't see the fuss about him....we got him too late in his career....as for Smith,he was the best 13 I have seen since Norton.Id like to know what Standee allegadley knows about him.

I know, he was one of the most naturally gifted players I've ever seen. Went AWOL a number of times at Hull, Rovers and Leeds. If he had been totally committed he'd have been considered an all time great in the sport and would've had much more than one GB cap.

Standee STILL got a bee in his bonnet about Jason Smith? Really? After all these years?

Why hasn't he been banned for the comments? He makes them every time Smith's name is mentioned. Not even a warning? His comments are disgraceful and without proof.

Jason Smith was an extremely gifted player. He could slow time to a standstill when he had the ball. I've seen Norton play and I can say that Smith was better. By some distance.
As for Standees comment about O'Meley and Fitzgibbon, well, he's proven that his RL knowledge extends no further than a Hull Daily Mail forum user.
