For me Radford would revert back to the backrow to replace Ticks and Moa would get regular gametime.

So yes I agree would then be just a case of decided what happens with Calders and Hall.

I don't see too much movement for next season really. A replacement for Yak and possibly replacements for Calders/Hall with the use of Tickle's money too and the promoting of Cunningham and Kent.

The backs is definately the area that needs strengthening for next season.

to be fair i'd be happy with fielden coming in for a retiring peter cusack.

not sure if i'd rather have LMS given he is alot younger but if Fielden is putting in better performances these days then he'd be a good signing IMO

SF is back to his best at present and very much in the frame for England i am led to believe! quality no nonsense prop , would be as big a signing as Fitz and would add to the quality of the squad no end..

Fielden would definately be a good signing. can't see Wigan letting him go easily though. by signing him we'd have a decent pack but a few quality backs is what's needed really. a decent centre to replace Hall and a winger or two if Calderwood leaves.

if this happened and the club decided it was going to go in for an import centre, would we be able to attract a better player in that position than Berrigan if we had just solely used him there?

It's not signed as far as I know but he does have one on the table.

Possibly not, but it would be worth a try. Berro is class no doubt but it is very difficult to get him on the field!! I would like him to be used at centre as it is a problem for us ATM and he has played rep footy there anyway. However, i think we could look at a world class 7 or 6 or maybe even get a better value deal from one of the Storms releasees..

berrigan wants to play hooker and that's why he came over here so it's pointless trying to get him to play centre

berro and houghton will work well next season IMO assuming they will still play for us

i hope we sign a winger and a playmaker (at 6 or 7)..... problem is we hardly use our wing-men compared to other SL teams so it's debatable how much £££ you want spent there.... i would like to see Tom Briscoe in the centres every game next season - he is too good to be on the wing and also better than craig hall

can't see that happening as that could leave us looking for at least 2 wingers if not 3!!.there aren't that many quality wingers around or quality ones that may be available.

Would be really interesting to see Hall up against Briscoe or Yeaman though after two years of heated debate on their relative merits and weaknesses.

No chance, by easter he would of done his windmill impression in a couple of games, lost his confidence and be on dual registration with Batley. Leaving Gekko with his head in his hands and asking us to pull up old threads were he said he would be a future international while in total denial!
