To me he still looks a bit nervous running and going into contact. As well as physically (with his pace) I think all his injures might also have took a mental toll on him.
There's a good player in there but unless he completes the season and then has a full preseason (his first with us) then I don't think we will ever see his full ability.

Unlucky again today. Few weeks in a row now we’re closely beaten. Just lacking that little bit of class and composure. We gave it a real go.

A good performance overall.
With the team we're putting out each week we're always going to find it really hard to get the wins but the effort is head and shoulders above what we saw at the start of the season. If the sin bin doesn't happen then we win that game.
We just lack a real game breaker or 2 at the moment to turn these close defeats into wins. Hopefully we find that player for next season.

Really impressed with Logan Moy again.

Just noticed Sutcliffe was on the team sheet. Didn't realise he was playing.

Moy has massive potential just needs to improve his awareness not running round players but that will come with experience.

Balmforth has the potential to be a serious hooker in the league.

If we cut out the daft mistakes we would definetley win more of these close games.

Another game we could and should have won being honest but shows that with the likes of Balmforth, Moy, Martin etc we have some real talent coming through.

Trueman for me is really going to have to start stepping it up and he’s just a passenger for the majority of a game.

Considering we had Ese’ese and Sao as our only size in the middle I thought we made a fair crack of it.

The yellow for Briscoe was more than a little harsh as you see that going one several times in every game, but then why expect anything different when it comes to Kendall.

Poor decision by Grix to put Houghton straight back in the 17 when not 100% and not having played for a few weeks.

Certainly a much better togetherness as a team since Smith & Genes departure.

Especially at the moment as its well reported that Houghton still has injuries which are being managed.

Thought Carlos went well again. I'd keep him if he is off quota and cap permitting.

I think Trueman is just playing within himself at the moment, a more experienced team around him and better luck with injuries I think he will be better.

I thought the effort in defence was good. They broke us a few times and our scramble defence covered. Special mention to my for stopping sneyd over the line

Centre is a huge problem for us with the lack of strike and pace we have now,but next season looks even worse.
The club seems to have forgotten how important pace is in the modern game and we go into next season with a bunch of plodders

As for the game…sounded as though they give it a dig,goal-kicks cost us but that happens but why play Houghton when not 100%……end of the day…valiant efforts don’t win games and Grix has still won just one.The next 5 games are seriously scary but can see a couple of good thumping im afraid.

He’s got somethings he’s needs to work on. But Logan Moy is some player going forward. If we can get martin, Moy, Charles, Balmforth etc in key positions give us great scope for our quota players.
