All I can see in the club statement is that we are seeking assurances from the SMC that the cost will be the same.

Doesn't bother me anyway because I prefer to drink good beer before or after the match but I can appreciate the concern of those fans who like a pint in the ground.

I would have thought "ensuring that parity remains in the pricing of match day drinks between Hull FC matches and other events at the stadium including Hull City match days." means we are to pay more than City.

Or it could mean asking the SMC to confirm that the price rise will also apply to Hull City games.

Maybe the club could come up with some sort of prepay season card where you start with a blank card so to speak then just go to a online account and purchase tickets for games on that card rather well in advance or just on game day.

Pearson wants a few turnstyles open. Potential problem of hundreds of away fans turning up ticketless.

System has been tried at Man City who have had to relent and reman some turnstyles.

Kiosks selling tickets will be put up if the SMC allow it.

As for walk up etc I would argue that given it is here to stay the club could use it as a perfect excuse to increase data base and "membership"
I am a member at QPR. It cost me £35 for membership. In return I got a goodie bag of QPR stuff which I passed to Father Christmas to give the kids. I also get a members pre sale period to buy tickets at a discounted price. It's basically a week when members get £5 off a ticket. So a few games and the goodie bag and I've saved my joining fee.
I then buy tickets on line and these are added to my card and I scan my card as I go through the turnstile. No need to go to West London other than on match day and no need to queue.
Rangers crowds are 18000 no queues no issues.
QPR build a bigger fan base. There are no issues for fans it's simple.
It could add the numbers to club Hull FC which pass holders are entitled to and as a member you could get next dabs on cup tickets after pass holders.

This would certainly be beneficial for people like me who can't make all games. Whichever way we bitch about the SMC they (Allam) have set this rule in place. We can either scream and shout about it and not go which will only hurt our club. Or the club can respond positively and turn it to their advantage. Sticks and stones and all that. He will be gone soon especially if Charlie Austin and co have their way.



As for beer prices etc. our games are 80 mins plus half time. Try going with out. You see more of the game as you ain't off for a pee constantly. #Dontbreaktheseal

Like I said earlier I think this is a great idea and could solve a lot of the problems that will arise from this no cash turnstiles.

Instead of buying the so called "beer" @ £4.20 per pint and the so called "food" everyone should buy a Hull FC matchday programme instead. Adam implies we'll lose money on the beer but we could get some back with increased sales of the magazine. As fans we can take the idiot on at this as we have control over where we spend. Buy a programme and stuff the refreshments up the Egyptian's arris.

Nothing the SMC does will stop me going. Why would an extraordinarily poorly organised outfit like that, deliberately or otherwise, have the effect that FC themselves have failed to achieve over decades of disappointment and irritation.
