Says you joined on here October 2006? Hmm.
There may be the odd person on here who might remember me posting on Hull FC message boards since 2000 - the old club official board in particular. They may even remember that, in a time when you were on the ropes from all angles I was relatively supportive. And that was despite some less-than pleasant encounters at the Boulevard - inlcuding (for example) some lovely young teenage ladies screaming at Macca (as a Bulls player) that they knew where he lived, and would come and burn his house down and stab his kids eyes out with a screwdriver (amongst other things). But I knew that sort of crap must be representative of just a small minority.
So I don't need any dumbass comments from you sunshine!'"
dont be pedantic . i may have joined here 2006, but i have been watching hull fc for 39 years pal. i have seen some great times and some shi..t times following HULLFC. i knew how intimidating the boulevard was however to me the threpenny stand was amazing and i loved it . the KC however is a much better ground for the players and fans of home and away teams.
EVERY TEAM has a yob culture, ive seen it at all grounds it isnt just hull !!
you were assuming the comments were about bradford fans they werent they were an observation of the matchday "experience". i couldnt go today i was working until 330pm, however i have been many times and agree with the majority, wind your neck in .

£17 to stand on a crumbling bit of concrete is a total rip off. And even though they must have been expecting large numbers of fans today, half the turnstiles at our end were shut, meaning people were queuing outside at ten to 3.
Poor but we won and don't have to go there again this year

I paid £20 for a seat under a roof at Odsal today. Not too far from the pitch either, maybe you should have done the same! Half the turnstiles were shut, but then again, the ground was only about half full.

agree totally, although the Bulls fan/village idiot who was dancing around the terraces was quite amusing. Really felt sorry for the disabled rl players at half time when they had to contend with mini games and cheerleaders and all the other crap going on in the middle after the guy with the mic sent them on a marathon lap of honour.

I wanted to be with the Hull fans and, in my opinion, £17 to stand in the Richard Dunn carpark with no cover is a rip off, when its only £20 for a seat which you say is much closer to the action

Like the dumbass criticism printed in every rag spouted from the vile mouth of Graeme Bradley who claimed that someone from Threepenny stand threw a lighted match at him when he was sat on the bench ??
A good throw by any measure I reckon - or was he talking out of his jacksy ???
FACTS are that Bulls used to complain about the rent, so the council GAVE them the stadium. Now they complain it costs them too much to maintain !!
They spend inflated sums on aged players (Iestyn Harris anyone ?) then complain they have no money.
Northern / Bulls have been like it for years. Whinge whinge whinge.
Even when glass jaw Fielden was kneeing class players in the chest to put them out of the game you were all screaming for more blood.
That arrogance is now coming home to roost, and you don't like it when we openly laugh at you pathetic atmosphere ??
I think you are in the wrong place if you want sympathy !
Aw diddums. Go bang your drum, or sing Wooly Bully. Saddo.

| I remember when Bradford Bulls were brilliant at pre-match entertainment and brought a bit of showman ship to our game which is now replicated by many other clubs, however in recent years it seems to have gone horribly down hill and I have to say, in my book, its probably the worst match day experience for an away fan currently.

its not the best stadium, but better than some ive been too. liked the beer tent idea, and the food was good. also you get a good view of the pitch. cant understand why people are slagging off your ground tbh. it wasnt that long ago that we was playing at hte boulevard with far worse facilities than yours but people on here would have described that stadium as having character.
come on folks, lets not slag other clubs off just cos we got a state of the art stadium (that we share).

I was one of those parading the Cup, actually I was holding it although I am the England team manager not a player. Thanks to everyone who applauded as we went by.
To be honest this was a chance to parade the Cup at my home ground and it meant a lot. Add to that the Bulls taking under their wing the Bradford Bulls Wheelchair Rugby League Club and even despite the performance on the field, which showed some signs of improvement being honest, I was a proud Bulls fan yesterday.
I know Odsal is not the great stadium that the KC is, unless we get the new OSV it never will be but as a fan you have to live in hope . You have probably the best stadium in the Super League on a number of fronts so a visit to any of the 'traditional' stadia is going to be a come down really, your used to the best and we don't have that yet.
Being honest though I've paid more than £17.00 for far worse facilities in the Super League and the Club are always looking for options to improve.
It speaks volumes to me though that we were completely at capacity as far as disabled Wheelchair users were concerned thanks to the great support that came over from FC. It was great to see so many of you there in general as well.
Thank you and well done on a deserved win.

Cheers!
Personally I prefer to stand at RL games, I enjoyed the beer and the food and I really appreciated the turnstile operative letting me and Smallears in for £10. Really enjoyed the game (although I can't really remember much of it!) and if the result was guaranteed, I'd be happy to play you every week at Odsal!

Cheers for the fair comments. Odsal is certainly a long way behind the modern stadia in terms of seating and toilet facilities etc. However I can't think of a ground in SL which has as much choice for the consumer in terms of food and drink. The beer tent is very popular and is usually the quickest placed to get served too!!
Tremendous support from the FC fans yesterday and some quality RL from their side too. Good luck for the rest of the year.

| The KC is great to watch a match from, though I go with my dad and he misses everything, as soon as we get near the line everyone stands up and he's too slow and misses it!. I do prefer to stand (Warrington is good for an away fan) and the drink/food queing and choice is awful...
