Wasn't technically a KR player when we signed him.

Directly from Rovers, I can't think of anyone of the top of my head since Paul Rose and that was nearly 30 years ago! Possibly Phil Edmonds, I think both came for the 1982-83 season.

Shows how far Rovers have come in the last few years. A player deemed surplus to requirements at Hull KR signs for the mighty Hull FC. I would be upset if you where to sign Taylor, Hodgson or Lovegrove so I'm hoping Rovers have already given those three long term deals. Hearing today Shannon Mcdonnell has signed a two year deal at Rovers which is one less worry as that kid is really starting to show his class.

That would be the best deal for Hull as Westerman and Wattsy in the same side would be like adding a spark to a box of dynamite.

Like somebody mentioned the other day just because they play for rival teams does not mean they dont socialise any more.

Makes it a little easier though especially sharing the same days off and fixture commitments does it not?

On the flip side though they are 2 of the most naturally gifted youngsters in the country and if the penny ever drops with them and they realise that they have to work hard to realise their potential then they could both be international players.
I agree with Rovers decision to release him so that we can get another player that Sandercock feels able to work with but i do hope that Watts sorts his head out going forward.

Don't get too excited. Sometimes players' faces dont fit or they fall out with a coach or possibly just fancy a change.

Not getting excited he has all the talent to be a fantastic player. His attitude and determination to get the best out of his talent is pants however. If that changes at his next club he'll be a class act.

Watts not being picked to play has little to do with Sandercock.
