If they was looking for a player it should be Ryan hall. Briscoe wasn't great in the four nations so how would he get recognition over Hall?

Tommy is great in Super League, but almost exclusively only from dummy half. I think his inability under the high ball and lack of genuine pace would see him exposed in the NRL.

Their some very average wingers probably earning (a lot) more than Briscoe does.

I wouldn't say he lacks pace. He's not the fastest but is by no means slow. It's his strength and agility that make him the winger he is today. Defenders have trouble putting Briscoe to the ground which gets a quick PTB and saps the other teams energy.

1 off a few English players that could make the cut in NRL imo.

Westwood

I agree except Westwood. He can be a penalty machine.

I think he would be a big hit over there though.

I dont even mind the penalties, i think his enthusiasm is infectious and he is a really intimidating figure

Was chatting to Gus on twitter the other day and we spoke about Tomkins, he said he is impressed with him but would love to see him test himself in the NRL every week.

Yeah me too - also, would love to see Briscoe there if he doesnt sign for Hull.

The impression i get is he isnt the type of guy to bottle going there ie Fielden, Peacock, Sculthorpe.

He had one dodgy game. He's had plenty where he's been solid under t and made some great catches. Give it a rest.
