This is for the the bitterest pill to swallow in terms of the club as its something the James Clark should certainly be on top of and no excuses for it as he was previously the communications side before his promotion to CEO. Either way we should have had either James Clark or Adam himself coming out and making a statement of some description along the line of "the results and more so performances have been unable and the home defeat to Rovers was totally unacceptable and things are underway to resolve things so please bear with us".

Its not a lot to ask to think about the fans and make some admission and an apology particularly as the season is now over and that shambles we witnessed on Saturday without anymore games this season will live in the memories which will take some salesmanship to convince people to renew passes and memberships.

The lack of communication from the club is something they can fix very simply and easily but for some reason it remains disconnected with its biggest asset which is the fans base.

Whether he was the right coach he is the 2nd to get thrown under the bus. Not right the same players are getting a wage after this. But it's done. I just hope whoever gets the job sorts the rot out in our club.

Agree, we've gone from James Rule who woulden't shut up to now radio silence from the board, a happy medium needs to be found.

Without watching training every day and seeing how they are acting to hard to say. But players still there since 2017: Houghton, Taylor, Griffin, Carlos, Shaul, Connor. A few others like Lane, Brown and Fash were around but not 1st team back then. Quite a few listed there haven't had great seasons.

I don't think Ellis is untouchable however its fair to say Ellis is an inexperienced Coach and as such working under Hodgson and Purtill to some degree has been on a hiding to nothing. As I posted earlier its not to much to think that Ellis would have made suggestions and spoke up but ultimately he is a model pro
and has respect so more than likely accepted decisions made by the Head & Assistant Coach.

As a friend of Peter Gentle through his time at the club I have a very strong feeling of De Je Vue here whatever happens and by whom in the future we don't want a Gareth Ellis type appointment (Great bloke though he is) we need someone who will come in and break this culture because its been around for years.

Best decision is Hatton, looked so unfit this season.

Need somebody who will come in, crack some heads and shove a rocket up a few backsides. Too many of the players have been coasting along and the culture has been rotten for years.

A shame it didn't work out for Brett Hodgson but that's sport.
