Friendly or not that score is a tad disturbing for Hull and the starting 13 certainly looked pretty decent on paper, of course no points on offer but it won't do anything for confidence.

I'm struggling to understand Radford' s team selection today. I don't think any of our squad have really impressed in any of the previous friendlies so would have thought Radford would have used today to give his first choice 17 a run out for at least part of the game. Catalans game is going to be interesting, not seen much sign yet of Radfords less complicated playbook

Shocking result and we'll no doubt here the same tired excuses and lines in the HDM before the Catalan game 'the result has made the team determined to put things right' 'we're training the house down to make things better' etc

the fact is the culture of the players is still that mediocre displays are acceptable, they get 'up' for games they want to (like Warrington in the Semi final last year) but other games they just aren't interested. You wouldn't get a top club being hammered like that today, we are a million miles away.

the fans have simply had enough of the promises and false dawns, I had a lot of optimism when Pearson took over...but that is definitely on the wane now. Cheap inexperienced coach, cheap 'gambles' on the signing front, pass sales dropping...it aint looking good right now!

Good to know the players and radford have shown the respect to one of hulls favourite players,by a fantastic whole hearted performance against featherstone.I know its only a friendly but what a pathetic performance against a team a division below.
As a rovers supporter all I can say is sorry to richard whiting who is my favourite fc player and deserved so much better. A total embarrassment to the club.

didnt go so cant comment on the match itself, but to me its been a very dissappointed pre season, imo we have a very big match coming up against the cats first up, i always thought gentle should have been given another year but as always will give radford my full support, i really hope we get our arris in gear for the 1st match, a win and these friendlys will be long forgotten,lose and will start to wonder, still early days and will be cheering the lads on,
