| I think he has a point TBH, we never supported the team as well as we could of. The atmospheres we have seen this year would not match the 5000 or so who would attend the Boulevard prior to the move and then again that was nothing special.
I think Thorman has had a bad season and can hardly say he was a good signing because he wasn't. However FC must be the only fans that think booing or abusing one of there own players will actually do some good. At times I am embarrassed to be assioicated with such fans. I mean soon as we go down by 6 points in a game we have lost because the minute we are down in a game all our supporters do is get on the back of the players which is adding the preassure they are already under.
Especially with a player like Thorman who was damned if he did and was damned if he didn't. I know they are supposed to be professionals but get real there is only so much abuse a person can take. In all honesty we should never have signed a FB/SO to play scrum half anyway.
Still one person to be happy will be Horne whose managed to have his poor season overshadowed by Thormangate.
The one thing I will say though is we still have had the numbers and attracted crowds that many other clubs could not even attract (even if it is there first season in the play offs).

| Thorman was screwed up by Sharp at the Giants, I am pretty surprised he followed him to Hull really for more of the same
I think Thormans main complaint can be he was the one getting the grief when there were plenty others in a Hull shirt not doing any better, but getting away with it.

I agree with every word.
Thorman seemed to be made the scapegoat for our poor performances by the boo boys when in reality it could have been one of a number of players getting the grief. Having said that, I won't be shedding any tears over his departure...

| Thormans position as a pivot player unfortunately means that as soon as he has a sniff of a bad game, it shows. Booing him, having a go, is just the fans showing their displeasure.
Throughout the season there were far worse players on the park then Thorman, but as everyone knows, the likes of Rich Horne are exempt from any criticism. Thorman therefore took the majority of the blame, right or wrongly. That said, he didn't do himself any favours with some shocking decision making, the same can be said for Agar too.
I for one am glad this bloody aweful season is over, and apart from the last 2 home games, will not miss the fortress KC for the next 5 months.
Good luck Chris, maybe if you'd have come earlier in your career, all would have been different.......?

All teams have supporters that do it.
As for Thorman, he was crap before he joined us, he has been been crap (at best) in all but one game this past season and for the majority of the time showed no heart or commitment for the cause. To say he only had one bad game and the fans were on his back is a joke. He was awful in the vast majority of games and the reason the fans turned on him after the Leeds game was the fact he clearly didn't give a Sh1t about playing for FC. I didn't want him here in the first place but once he was an FC player he got my support and I dont boo our own players. The only time I did give out some abuse was that Leeds match and he would have got a lot more if he had have come out for the 2nd half and had to stand in front of our fans.
As someone else has pointed out he is always looking for an excuse and looking to shift the blame. I'm glad he is gone and hope we never see the like again.

| Didn't Matt King have a go at the "wonderful, best fans in the world" Warrington supporters when they perceived a lack of effort on his part earlier in the season?
Many of these "knockers" will have been shouting themselves ho at Wembley exhorting his talents.
It happens!!!!! I don't condone it, I don't support it. The best way to answer it is on the pitch with effort and commitment. That for me, and many others, has been the most disappointing aspect of the season. Too many performances lacking those 2 commodities.
Having got that off my chest roll on next season. Players. coaches, staff, good and bad, come and go. The one constant is the support from the true fans IAKOW

| Thought he could have been a decent signing, but that was as cover for Dykes/Webster, R. Horne and Tony. First choice SH in a team with plenty of other problems was always going to be a big ask. Potentially a decent squad player, given too much responsibility and his confidence went - a bigger problem for a SH than any other position, possibly.

| His individual performance at Leeds was arguably the worse performance I've seen in a Hull shirt and having witnessed Andrew Mighty on the wing for us, that's saying somet. For that night alone, i have no sympathy.

| How dare thorman blame us fans for his own weak performances. YOU WAS A SH@TE 7.
To those who thought we played him out of position after 2 years at hudd playing fullback. Well the leeds away game and the ridiculous attempt at tackling/charging webb spoke volumes!!!! worst player ever in that game.
YOUR A BROKEN MAN THORMAN LOOKING FOR EXCUSES.
If you manage to get a contract at bulls (as people predicting) I hope luakai doesnt show you any respect like you havent us fans after a season with us!!!!

| Has a bit of a point that the way he was targeted at times was over the top and harsh, but he also needs to take a good long look at himself and his attitude and realise that he was often found woefully short in terms of effort too. If he'd looked more interested, his other deficiencies may well have been forgiven a little more.

This is all irrelevant twaddle. What you need to state, in clear, explicit terms, is whether or not you think Thorman is a fadge.

Agree with that the abuse he got at Castleford was a awful IMO and was well out of order as there was a good 5 or 6 players who played worse than him.
But he hasnt helped himself with some of his "tackling attempts" at times this season and his poor kicking game but there has been worser players than him, I think Horne has been just as bad as Thorman at times this season yet not a word was said about him.

Yeah but not 10,000 of them.
I don't think he was a good signing either or had a particular good season. I like you never rated him before we even signed him, however we did sign him no matter how many of us disagreed with that.
I definetley think us as supporters could have contributed more to the team and not just Thorman. If we didn't turn up in numbers I would have gone as far to say probably the worst fans in the league.
