Yes your right and there is no doubting his talent, he could of kicked on if he had shown the right attitude but instead he as let everybody else down and himself.

Talented but erratic player. Erratic personality too, it seems. Having paid a medium sized fee for him and having a thin squad already, I'd be very tempted to give him one last chance. If the squad has lost faith in him then I would not yield to that temptation.

I think that is a key factor as well, the squad's faith in him, apparently they are also sick of him.
Not too concerned about the fee we can afford it

The 'im an aloholic' line is well used one when someone keeps fecking up at work and one ive seen used a few times and if Tansey has pulled this one out of the bag then theres absolutely no chance he'll get sacked as his employers have a duty to try and help. So he wont be going anywhere.

We all forgave him twice, 3 times is taking the proverbial pi$$. Would there be this attitude if it was Ewan Dowes or Danny Washbrook? I tend to think not. The fact some people see him as an integral part of the team seems to be blurring the facts he is not learning from his mistakes.
