The one who despite being an impact prop makes 15 tackles per game, missing 1 in every 20. Makes an error less than once every two games and gives away a penalty less than once every 3 games. Not to mention making more metres per carry than Feka Palea'aesina, Maurie Fa'asavalu, Jamie Peacock, James Graham and Sam Burgess to name but a few. |

That's the one! More than just a project now methinks.
For those who think our forwards weren't the problem, it's not necessarily correct. Yes they made yards, but no one bent the line and scattered defences to allow space for our backs to shine. Horne suffered more than most because of this. Every team needs an impact prop.
Should of been signed weeks ago. |

Not bad stats after a handfull of games
And to compare him to James Graham 
Having watched him in both the reserves and first team I will as I have said be the first to say he has potential, and would be happy if he stays but not gutted if he goes..
Lets hope we can comapre him to likes of James Graham after a full season of first team rugby |

14 games imo is long enough for those stats to mean something. Had it been 3 or 4 games then yes, you caould say they don't mean anything. Fact is he can performed consistanly well whenever he has been given a chance.
As for comparing him to Graham, he's not in his league as an all round player, but considering he is an impact prop, there to bend the line and put us on the front foot, the fact that he makes more metres per carry than the best in the league is surely a good thing. |

I never you did, you claimed he made more meters than Graham, on ratio he is not even close, also you slightly exaggerated other points..and just to clarify I am not opposed to signing Sam I will be as pleased as others so I am not sure what the problem is. |

Agree again. Stats are only usefull to the coach in control. Different coaches may use different tactics. |

Yes you are right about meters per carry, exaggerate is possibly not the right word I should have use ( I apologise), you seem to have highlighted the best bits, however they are not that outstanding, apart form meters per carry, his tackle busts are not that great..he still has imo a long way and when you compare him to a player like James Graham it highlights at the moment he is average with potential and I do not blame the club for not going with more than a 1 year deal
