Immensely proud of the players, fans and the club as a whole. I must admit I feared the worst as I started watching the game from behind the settee. All the youngers acquitted themselves admirably especially Lane. I just hope it doesn't jeopardise our league position.

Great performance particularly the youngsters. Masi was brilliant. Watts, Hadley, Connor and Kelly were outstanding. Very good trip for the players, the club and the supporters who all conducted themselves admirably. By the way what happened to Naughton he wasn't even named in the squad.

Well they're already on the flight home with a full week before we play again - hopefully jetlag won't be too much of an issue. Sounded like Tag will be flying back with them, although Radford saying he'll be a few weeks before he plays.

Taylor out is a blow, but we have good cover at prop, chance for one of the young kids.

I was mocked a bit pre season when I said Masi will put pressure on Gree this season, be interesting who Radders picks for bench prop against Cas on Saturday.

In fact tough to pick the 17, a few young lads pushing the more established players.

Quite a headache for Radders, but I'm sure its one he welcomes. I thought all of the youngsters were outstanding today.

Haven't seen the game but sounds like a fantastic effort by all particularly the younger squad members. Yet again shows having faith in playing younger squad members in their correct positions is likely to be a better option than a tired/not fully fit senior player.

Let's hope their upward progression gets a chance to flourish, we're still well short in the halfbacks and 3/4s (coming through) though which has been an ongoing problem for the club, we've always been very strong in the forwards dept.

It shows what a great job Radford is doing a the club, he has managed the young players superbly, bringing them in at the right time, loaning them out etc.

Obviously it would be great to bring young players through it all positions, but I'm confident with Radford this will start to happen.

Thought all the players did the club proud, and a special mention for all the young players.Wish we had commentators like Andrew Voss and Mark Gasnier.

He's done a great job. To push an NRL club so close in their own back yard with twelve Hull lads (plus Masi who learnt his trade here) out of twenty three is remarkable.

The difference between Voss/Gasnier to the SKY muppets is like comparing a top sports caller to Eddie Waring when he had dementia and was still 'commentating' and I think that's being generous on the SKY team tbh.
Needs a root and branch change but hopefully IF we can sell the next set of broadcasting rights outside of SKY (Free to air preferably) it'll matter not. It's clear SKY don't give a fook about RL anymore.

Centre's tricky - Griffin's started the season well IMO but not so good against St George, so not sure whether he'll get the nod over Carlos. Several of the younger players pushing for a bench spot. Wouldn't risk Mini unless he's 100%.

Masi whilst has potential but still doesn't offer what Green does and they are slightly different props in any case, given the amount of stick he gets it's clear that Radford values him a lot and he's in the first 17 pretty much all the time even when everyone is fit (66 appearances 2015-17).

Brad Fash is still my pick of the younger squad players, despite being undersize compared to most forwards (Is he the lightest forward in SL at 97kg?) he is fearless, he gets stuck in and does a great job, currently filling the role that Thompson was providing.

Griffin is a tough one, he was absolutely dreadful in defence against SGI but seemed to be excellent in making yards but Connor surely has cemented his place and can we leave CT out to allow Griffin in. There's also Logan who I think needs to be given a chance at some point.
IF CT is to leave the club after this year then we need to be considering who is the replacement, it would be brilliant if we could have another home grown talent in the backs.

What are people's thoughts on Faraimo, can't say he's stood out thus far, hasn't come in to take the ball up as much as I thought he might and certainly less dynamic than I expected, Talanoa is well ahead.

Great support from the faithful as well. Good to see a game in such a famous stadium as the ANZ but disappointed so few Aussies turned out. 19k in an 82k stadium felt odd. But I do bear in mind that a friendly against an English team isnt top drawer over here and the ground is quite far away from both the centre and the suburbs.

Thought Bureta showed a nice couple of touches on Saturday.
